Skacel
Wouldn't it be a tad ironic that if Aberdeen were to host this MTV event, that it would be in a place where you likely wont be able to buy music, unless it's in a supermarket? More ironic than MTV hosting a music award ceremony?

MarkDrummer
Edit - Once AECC moves McDonald's Bridge of Don will most likely close. It won't. If it does, it'll have fuck all to do with the AECC. The place does well.

If BOD is so busy then why does it not have a proper centre with shops etc, like Govan etc.
Guest Cool Thinker
I was in HMV today and on the board for new releases it said "Think On Your Sins....Skyfall" I thought that was funny and I laughed.

kirsten
Tesco is in Danestone not Bridge of Don. Danestone is part of the Bridge of Don. My friends from Danestone always used to deny this for some reason, like they were ashamed to be part of the mighty BOD.

Bridge of Don is not a borough it's an area the same as Tillydrone, Danestone and Dubford are not included.
Eupraxia
Bridge of Don is not a borough it's an area the same as Tillydrone, Danestone and Dubford are not included. You are incorrect. Bridge of Don is split up into four main areas. It says so here...And here it reckons Danestone is definitely part of Bridge of Don Your cool thoughts are not cool.
The Milner
Considering my parents address is........... Danesteone, Bridge of Don, i would think it is definitely part of it.Having grown up there i think im in a good position to say it most certainly is part of BOD. Dubford is also part of BOD, my work is in Dubford and again our official address ends with "Bridge of Don"

framheim
although cool thinker is incorrect, postal addresses don't always mean the same as geographic area. Everything south of Roadside of Catterline has a DD postcode and they often use official addresses stating Angus, despite Angus not starting till over the bridge past St Cyrus. tis dumb. Adam Easy Wishes
I always think it's weird that Falkirk is in Stirlingshire, and Stirling is in Stirlingshire, yet the postcode for both is (mostly) "FK". Another fun fact - Dumbarton, is in West Dunbartonshire. Wacky. Edited February 22, 2013 by Adam Easy Wishes
