Jaaakkkeee
I don't drink. But it comes in handy for when I get ID'd for being in a pub to have lunch.Bus Pass in wallet??? That means going in to pocket to go in to my wallet to get it, why would I do that when I can just go in to my pocket?
Spoonie
Have you been ID'd having lunch in a pub before now?
Moose
So you carry a passport around, all the time, in case you happen to go into a pub for lunch?
Adam Easy Wishes
He clearly means pubs abroad. You know, so he can get through customs? Yeah, that'll be it. I CAN SEE NO OTHER LOGICAL EXPLANATION.
Jaaakkkeee
I just have it on me. What if I wanna buy a dvd that's rated 18, or I'm going in to a pub but not drinking on a whim. Most people carry their driving licence everywhere even when they're not driving. It's my most accessable form of ID. As I don't have a licence. Spoonie
I don't drive but I don't carry my passport about either because I'm hench as fuck so nobody would dare ID me or I'd punch them to death.

Well handy for ID checks, saves taking your passport about with you (I know some people do take their passports with them but that seems a bit stupid to me).I'm really bad for not putting my license back in my wallet when I use it for ID, so it gets lost in one of my 6,000 pockets. As do my bus day passes which is fun and games when the bus is just coming.

Jaaakkkeee
This "logic" totally defeats the purpose of having a wallet at all. There is absolutely no hope for you, Jake.i don't want change and all my cards and stuff jangling around in my pockets.

Paranoid Android
The only ID I have is my passport which I never carry with me. Not a problem here in Poland but it's a real pain when I'm back in the UK where I think I'll be getting ID'd until I'm in my 50's

FOX
that costs money. also, it's covered through my bank, so if i lose it i'm nae too bothered.I'd be a bit worried about someone else having my address, date of birth, photograph and passport number. Jaaakkkeee
pfft. Live a little. Take a risk, a chance. Isn't your address on your driving license? What if you lose your wallet. They have your name, address, credit/debit card numbers and all your spare change. And all the little things I keep in my wallet.
kirsten
I've been carrying my passport around for four years and have never lost it. It's in my purse and even when super drunk, I am always paranoid about making sure I hang onto that. I begrudge paying however much it costs for a provisional when the only benefit of it is that it would allow me to have a slightly smaller purse. Anyway, cool story, I should really think of a quick question...

paime
Why don't you people drive?? If I didn't have a driving licence I would be completely stranded and, quite frankly, regard myself as a loser. What do you do if you need to go to B&Q or do a big Tesco shop?
