I find ebay right good for bargain cymbals but not good for specific hardware/heads I want. Newcastledrumcentre seems reasonable, but I'm sure there is better out there? Wembley Drum Centre is one of the biggest in the country, but last time I used them they charged a minimum 10 on postage making it a ripoff if you were only buying sticks, heads etc.Have used Newcastle, Poole Percussion, Birmingham Drum Centre, Rock Factory, Drum Central, Footes over the years....none of them are noticably cheaper than the rest. eBay has been as cheap as anywhere to buy stuff in my experience.
