morlun
One that I am really enjoying at the moment is Zug Izland's cover of Cry Little Sister. Not saying the best, coz there is probably only a maximum of 3 other people on here that have actually heard of them. threeornothing
Listening to a highly underrated cover just now, "Every Little Thing" (the beatles song) by YES....The intro is just amazing, 2 minutes of rocking jazzy psyschadelic prog waaaay before that sort of music went way up its own arse. The song itself wasn't one of the stronger Beatles numbers, but the intro on this man....awesome....go look it up on P2P now!!!! The addition of another classic beatles riff right at the end of the intro is a touch of fucking class.Man I'm getting old...i'm back into Yes!!! belladonnaleaves
Recently, Jim O'Rourke's version of "Venus In Furs". More use of dynamics than the original. With a more emphasized drone. Its more like the version John Cale did on the Halloween Jools Holland last year. But, better i thought.
