FOX
I think doing anything yourself qualifies as DIY.DIY is exclusively putting up shelves. Exclusively. Everyone knows that.

Lemonade
DIY is exclusively putting up shelves. Exclusively. Everyone knows that.I put up a shelf once, above my computer. Then one time I was sitting at the computer and the shelf fell down, hit the back of my monitor, the monitor fell over, hit the cup of tea on my desk and spilled hot tea all over my cock and balls.
Paranoid Android
How'd you burn your cock and balls?I did it myself.

Then you only have yourself to blame.
Stroopy121
So, the wife works in a coffee shop who are considering doing open mic/acoustic gigs at weekends. They have a PRS licence which allows them to play the radio/music channels etc.Is another licence, any other legal gubbins or misc crap required in order to be able to legally host gigs?xx

Lemonade
I need one of these, but I don't know what that funny 4 pin pattern is called and searching on eBay for "Laptop power supply" brings up about a zillion results. What are these actually called?

Adam Easy Wishes
Have you tried searching for the specific laptop make/model rather?
Lemonade
Looks like a 4 pin DIN connector to me. What's the voltage? 12V?Yeah I think so. It's for a Toshiba external hard drive. That one's fucked, it blows the circuit breaker in my house as soon as I plug it in.
Lemonade
Have you tried searching for the specific laptop make/model rather? No, I don't have any of that info. I bought the drive off a guy on here, all I have is the drive, it has no model numbers or anything on it, and the power supply isn't the original one, it's a cheapy replacement. Alkaline
In fact i think it is a 4 pin Kycon connector.

Lemonade
4 pin KyconCould well be. Can't see the connectors on that one though so not sure? Maplin have them, but they want 82 quid for it, the fucking crooks, so they can cram that up their pee-holes. I may just go in there, find the part number off the box then google it when I get home.
