Adam Easy Wishes
This happened at my old work and was a nightmare. Excel 2010+ worse than earlier versions, I believe. Try uploading the file to Google Docs and re-downloading.
The Milner
With difficulty. You will need to look online for a program to help you unlock it, even then its not something i have messed around with. This might work, http://lastbit.com/office2007password.asp But again i have no experience of it, so i cant say how safe or user friendly it is. The Milner
Who ever has done that should be banned from ever putting a password on anything again. In here it could get you into serious trouble.

Moon Moon
Can someone explain what a guitar humidifier does and how I use it?
Scootray
As you play the guitar, it removes humidity from the room. Like a portable dehumidifier. Except it's not really portable as the guitar still has to be plugged in.
James Broonbreed
That's a guitar dehumidifier is it not? A guitar humidifier exudes water vapour into the atmosphere making everyone moist.

Lemonade
It's a special temperature controlled room you keep your finest Cuban guitars in to keep them tasting fresh.

Cabbage
yeh it is cheers just needed to know what it does is it useful? I've got a planet waves one but I might be fancy and buy a temperature controlled one as the temperature in my house is more rapid than Taylor swifts blokes I think a humidifier might be useful if you live in California and are keeping a collection of old guitars. You can keep the humitidy at a level to prevent the wood in your guitars from drying out to such an extent that splits a cracks form. Here in the North East of Scotland you can achieve the same effect by opening a window. Most North East homes would be more likely to suffer from excess humidity due to our damp climate and poor venting.
Lemonade
I need to find some sodium carbonate. Anyone know if there's an everyday product I can find in the supermarket which is made of this? I don't know what it is but I presume some sort of cleaning agent.

Lemonade
What for?!Its meant to be good for cleaning tarnished silver, if you boil it and put in some aluminium foil. What is it? Is it dangerous?
Chris
Its meant to be good for cleaning tarnished silver, if you boil it and put in some aluminium foil. What is it? Is it dangerous? Google suggests it's commonly used as a water softener, cleaning product and food additive so I wouldn't imagine it's very dangerous. I'll investigate. The pharmacist gave me a sulphur-based dandruff treatment that I have to use twice a week. As well as making my hair smell like seaweed and rotten eggs, it also reacted with my silver necklace and turned it black. Chemicals eh? Great bunch of lads.
