Alan Cynic
That was a wee embellishment, I'll admit:up:(a limp excuse, I know!)
Bigsby
I will be doing the usual...watching the Dons in the Holburn Bar...my travelling days are well behind me (especially since I had my leg amputated)Maybe you should try the Hop-burn Bar instead then. How much do they make you stump up for a pint in there these days? If we get to the final the boys in the Celtic amputee supporters club will be gangrene with envy. Alan Cynic
The Holburn Bar actually has very good deals for amputees! If you're short of a leg they give you shorts at half-price, and if you've no legs at all you get shorts free.I've even considered removing both my legs just for the free booze, but I'd end up legless every time I went in.Forecasts for tomorrow, folks?I'll risk 3-1 for the Dons, with scorers being Severin, Maguire and a Queens OG:up:
RossP
It was pretty rubbish putting up with the Rangers fans this morning, so to save myself a rubbish monday i'll be rooting for Queen of the South Hope Stephen Dobbie is on the salad tonight... Alan Cynic
Dobbie seems to be doing well for them, so I hope he's out tonight getting rat-arsed til the early hours, and that when he drives to Dumfries in the morning he falls asleep at the wheel and runs into Steve Tosh's car, with them both being hospitalised (nothing too serious, mind)
Bigsby
I was in the Holburn Bar for the semi the last time we reached a final, so hopeflly that's a good omen. Seem to recall Andy Dow scored the winner, although I think it was The Flare and Firkin then.
Alan Cynic
You coming to the Holburn this time, Bigsby? I'll get the first round.

RossP
My Dons supporting father is of the impression that QOS have a 4-0 head start, as there are 4 ex dons in their team; and Aberdeen always concede goals to ex players... apparently. On that basis I predict a 4-4 draw with QOS winning pens, as the Dons will suffer flashbacks of Queens Park not so long ago
Bigsby
You coming to the Holburn this time, Bigsby? I'll get the first round.Tempting offer, will depend on Mrs Bigsby and Bigsby Jr.So probably not! But you never know. I've had stuff sitting in my car for ages to give to you (a Sunday Times magazine with an article on the Chelsea Hotel and the gig guide from the News of the World which describes the Kitchen Cynics as "alt rockers"). Alan Cynic
You'd expect a class act like the News of the World to get that right...it should've said "auld-rockers" I'm getting excited about the semi (hmm....I've a feeling that might've been worded better!) Alkaline
I'm getting excited about the semi (hmm....I've a feeling that might've been worded better!)Well i think you're entitled to as it's the first one for a few years
KennyS
Just heading off in a bit. Not actually that nervous, but there's always a nagging fear where the Dons and lower league opposition are involved. So long as Tangoman overloads with pace we should be OK on the huge Hampden park. Alan Cynic
Well i think you're entitled to as it's the first one for a few years This is true...wish my g/f could go down, too! (ooh-err missus etc)Agree with KennyS.......hopefully we'll get stuck in, and show them a clean pair of heels. They're not a young team. Guest idol_wild
I predicted 4-1 to QOS, so I actually feel that's quite a good result for the Dons.
Stichman
Jake is currently laughing his nuts off down the phone, and asking how many Hampden finals for Tango since leaving the Pars.Arf!Hahahahaha. I'd love to say I felt a shred of sympathy for Aberdeen, but I've been waiting for this result for too many years. Round ye, Tango. I thought the Dons were going to sneak it in the end, well played by Queens to hold out. Hopefully this means their sights will be cast forward to the final, letting us sneak in and claim glorious victory in the bloody battle for 4th. Sam 45
I thought that was atrocious. Didn't find it exciting in anyway or form. Thank god i wasn't at the game. What a shambolic defensive performance.

Neil
I was feeling quite depressed about The Rams being down 3 - 0 at home before even half time. Then I learned of the Aberdeen result. You gotta laugh eh?
