  1. Dear Inkster, I work until 22:00 on a Monday night but would very much like to see Drive By Argument. Could you perhaps tell me what time they are likely to be gracing the stage? Thanking you in anticipation, Amy
  2. Magic, thanks for the info. I'll be their/ they're/ there then!
  3. If you don't already know, it's been cancelled for reschedule. 'tis a long way to go for nothing... No new date yet.
  4. Hello. Any idea what time Dick Dangerous will be on? Not sure what time I can make it down yet.
  5. Could it have bene any hotter in there if they'd tried?! The Smurf's colours were draining off pretty quickly! Quite enjoyed the 'ska again. Good fun
  6. If you know any students/ concessions/ theatre club members you may still be able to get stand-by tickets, usually 5 each. They keep around 40 per show. I'm not entirely sure if these apply to everyone but it's worth a shot. Good luck!
  7. What time are AKA-Ska likely to be on? I can't make it down until later... Any rough estimate would be good
  8. Ace, that video is so good! Hope that gets your lovely fizogs on the telly. I'm so chuffed for you guys, keep it up
  9. I'm gonna be in Glasgow tonight so I expect a riot if we win My friend won 160 on a bet on Saturday's game, jammy!
  10. All the best, Jamesy. Enjoy London and the rest
  11. The tour has been getting rave reviews so far. Definitely one of the best line-ups we'll see this year. With Capdown calling it a day, there's no reason why The JB Conspiracy shouldn't claim their position as the biggest UK ska-punk band. Can't wait to see all three bands again.
  12. It's only the start of September! What the heck, though... Song of the year: 'Our Velocity' - Maximo Park Album of the year: 'This Machine' - The JB Conspiracy Best gig: Sonic Boom Six, The King Blues, Failsafe & Mouthwash at Kef in March Number of travels: Heaps min. Nine days on tour, went to gigs in Edinburgh, Glasgow, North Berwick and travels to France and Portugal Number of hearts broken: Zero Best moment this year: Joining a band, getting on stage Worst moment of the year: Playing in Edinburgh to no people Best sexual moment: Nobody's answering this one, eh? Fun sexy times with Biffy turned up to 11 Best tv show: Neighbours as always, but I haven't seen it in about a month, oh life Best party: My birthday. Had a joint bash with 2 girls from work and it was my boyfriend's soon after. Happy days all around Most embarrasing moment: Can't think of any. Maybe exposing my bikini body in Portugal. Saying that, there were a lot worse than mine Was most happy when: Drunk, drinking, chilling out, watching The JB Conspiracy, Chief, Zebrahead, The Living End, Howards Alias etc etc Was least happy when: Sitting exams, revising, working 2 boring jobs over the summer

    Your current read?

This sounds pretty good. Though I don't really get economics, I'd happily give this one a shot. Noted down! I'm coming to the end of 'A Prayer for Owen Meany' by John Irving. It's fantastic, can't believe I haven't read it already. It's such a heartwarming story. The way Irving depicts Owen is just ace. I don't want the book to finish but want to know what happens so badly! I've been reading it in any spare 5 minutes I have. Would recommend it to anyone.
  14. Ace, can't wait for this. Will be a merry affair. Will have to find out what time the One Up performance is too..... anyone care to enlighten me?
  15. Such an amazing book. I read it for my personal study in Higher English but ended up doing 'Music of Chance' by Paul Auster in the end. Anyway, totally got lost in it. The first 100 or so pages were a bit slow-going but the rest more than made up for that. The suspense with him in the boat with the tiger was spot on. Think I might take it on holiday next month.
  16. Lol, was a fun night out. Didn't think much of the supports apart from the German dudes, they were good fun. Got that Max Power song stuck in my head. As for the Bloodhound Gang, should've played more than 9 or 10 songs but the rest made up for it. The messages about the north east and such were pretty funny I'll look forward to seeing them again in October.

    Wimbledon

I hardly saw anything of the whole fortnight but fuck me, what a final! Both guys were just awesome, just a shame Nadal didn't keep up the way he was going in the 4th set. They're both an absolute joy to watch!
  18. Should think so, Paul spent ages on it Should be an ace gig!
  19. Haha, that gig was a classic. Also one at the Lemon Tree where Kenny had a few too many glasses of wine by the time they came on quite late. That made for some entertaining viewing. Gonna miss The 44s heaps, always put on an exciting show
  20. Favourite Exo night by a mile! Can dance for an hour at a time. We'll be gracing the dancefloor after the Legacy gig. Haven't been since the start of the year, poor!
  21. Looking forward to this one. It's been too long since I was last at The Moorings. Looking forward to GoodSir Smith, sounds good.
  22. Magic, this is the night after my last exam so I'll be there with bells and shit on. I don't expect to remember much of the evening Looking forward to seeing Escape to Victory again, that was a very impressive debut this past Monday. Oh, summer
  23. Think I'm gonna go for the no holds barred take on the mix CD. Looking forward to seeing E2V. I expect a great rock show
