  1. Yo, just wondering if someone could tell me who's supporting, doors and price please? I'll be there anyway, but for promotional purposes. It's only a week and a bit away... http://www.myspace.com/failsafemusic
  2. Urgh, hope you're not suffering too much Catherine! Certainly not the start to the holiday you'd want. I'm flying from Edinburgh on Saturday morning so fingers crossed there's not too much damage then. I really don't want to put my camera and all in my proper luggage.
  3. Hooray indeed! I just hope they've got hot haircuts and foxy tight jeans on! It's not really "finally", they've been before.
  4. I've only been to the Aberdeen Union a couple of times so can't really comment, but it did seem to be full of posers. I'll have to make a point on going back though. RGU Union's always been good to me, always another group of folk you know seem to be there. There was a good part of the Aberdeen Uni website with detailed plans of The Hub but I can't seem to find it now. Could be a nice wee place. I think there's going to be a TV room kinda thing with international stations on. How exciting.

    oi oi

Yeah, The Living End and Zebrahead, so I wouldn't have to travel to London/Glasgow. Jack Johnson would be magic also... As would Millencolin.
  6. I really really really need to see The Aquabats before death comes knocking. I think I'll go to this, a Wednesday night too, fantastic. Allister are nae bad live so could be a cracking night oot.

    Exams.

Mine aren't for another fortnight yet, a whopping 1 day apart. Finger has been pulled out, revision is going alright for a change!
  8. I'm not that bad, never really have been. On my 'healthy eating' programme just now I try to only have Vokda and diet coke with the odd cocktail here and there. Last summer I drunk heaps, sometimes a bottle of wine before going out for numerous vodkas, shots and cocktails. After a couple of not-so-fine indcidents, I cut down a lot. These days, I dunno, maybe 15 drinks tops in a night, probably 8-10 on average. I think that is actually bad.
  9. Aye, it was a good one tonight. The last couple of years were a bit shady - lots of the students were pissed and many made little effort. Anyways, lots of good floats, particularly liked the circus and Ghostbusters. The clothes line costume folk who were collecting pennies off the floats win best cstume Some of them must have been frozen though, was affa nippy. Don't get why one girl had nipples drawn on her top and one with a penis-shaped wobbly hairband thing. Kiddies night out and all. I'm wanting to be in it next year for sure.
  10. Arrrrrrrrrrrgh, I just saw this and arrrrrrrrrrgh again, I'm going to be on holiday then I'd love to see Babar Luck, the legend that he his. Always gets thumbs-up reviews. Oh me, I'm gonna be drowning my sorrows in Spain that Saturday night. Nice one Fudge, enjoy! http://www.myspace.com/babarluck
  11. Blood For Oil - Sonic Boom Six Overcome (The Recapitulation) and In All Rwanda's Glory - RX Bandits Uri Geller Bent My Heart - Lightyear & take your pick of Antimaniax songs. Personal favourites include In Front of Our Eyes & Suit, Tie, Cash Also, not so much a protest song but What's Going On? by Zebrahead is a great tune addressing and questioning issues in American society such as drugs and gun crime.
  12. Excellent, I shall now use that flyer for my promo. I am so excited Dancing shoes are going to be worked out. Can't wait to hear some new stuff from the 'Bandits, there's not much wrong they can do. This time next week it'll all be over
  13. Nae bad at all so far. Had the delight of seeing Jason Mraz, The All-American Rejects and Yellowcard in Glasgow, all of which were very entertaining gigs despite the support not being so great. Back home, The Upstarts have played some blinders and it's nice to see Quik again. Failsafe were awesome this past Friday at Kef but the best gig so far has been the Sonic Boom Six/Thinkpol all-dayer. Can't wait for the RX Bandits next Monday and The All-American Rejects again in June
  14. Oh me, what was left was a bit disappointing, I'm really annoyed I didn't get down earlier. I did however pick up Pennywise's 'The Fuse' and 'From the Ashes' as well as The Mighty Mighty Bosstone's 'Awfully Quiet' and Guttermouth's 'Eat Your Face'.
  15. Oooh, that's great. Failsafe absolutely blew Jesse James out the water. I missed The Boring Ending, what a tragedy, but it was nice to see a good crowd for Failsafe and JJ. Not so nice to see that JJ have stuck to their simple winning formula. I used to really enjoy this band but, despite playing really well and showing the fans a good time, they weren't for me on Friday. So much for the early Failsafe stuff though, Fire In a Glass would've made my night. No other complaints, worth the 2 years or however long it was wait since the last time they were up!
  16. Aaaah, I love this one. Quality recording, vocals are grand. It's magic live too 'mon the RX Bandits gig. That is all.
  17. Can't wait to see Failsafe, it's been a while. Woo!
  18. Hope there's still some good stuff left. Haven't had the chance to shop for a while but I'll be out in force tomorrow
  19. Grannie's Broth Tesco's Tomato Soup Tesco's healthy range chicken noodle Sainbury's chicken and sweetcorn Yum! I'm having lots of soup just now. Today, in a rush to catch Neighbours, I put milk instead of water in my broth. Surprisingly, it didn't taste that bad.
  20. I can't believe I joined Bebo. I was looking through the video charts on it yesterday and there was one, positioned at around #40, of a girl enjoying some time in her pants with a friend recording it. This is supposed to be a website for school pupils to use o_O I do prefer MySpace but on Bebo you get to see a fetching picture of Bowl O' Alpen in a court, fake of course.
  21. Lol lol, I can confirm that Dallas is still alive and kicking. He and his lady friend have a wee baby girl (I think). That, I suspect, takes up most of his time. (I don't actually speak to the guy but he was spied when I worked at the marternity hospital and in the city recently.) And for your viewing pleasure.... http://www.myspace.com/dallyally7
  22. My bank card got swallowed today, booooooo. I had great fun listening to some awful music on hold to the Bank of Scotland phoneline. That aside, the 2 guys I spoke to were very efficient and I should have a replacement in 7-10 working days. Boo to the time though.
