  2. Ooh, I do. But did you know it's illegal to eat one in the UK on Christmas day? Madness!
  3. Aye, nae too keen on the video, they should've just forgot about the zombies. Fucking TUNE though
  4. Well, I plan on going back on Tuesday but the last time I gave blood, it took the life right out of me for about a week. And I'd like to be in good health this Christmas. I don't know why more folk don't do it, to be honest. Apparently there's been a big decline in the numbers doing so...
  5. Yeah I agree with that. The fan base seems to have drifted away too... to emo land or something.
  6. Oh excellent. I finish work at half 10 so I can then go see the 'Terror I love Fudge.
  7. I love this song more than life itself. It's wonderful live. Magic album too.
  8. Ah, yes! That's the one. I've seen them and all, knew I recognised it from somewhere else. Magic tune. Thank you
  9. Well I liked them 'specially that Lies Lies.
  10. OK this is slightly embarrassing because it's probably quite a well-known song but on my recent travels to Exodus, and perhaps Moshulu too, I've heard this song I really like that I have no clue of the title or artist. It's quite in-your-face and quirky and - I think - has the repeated line "and I hope you take this" or something similar, in its chorus. The vocals are maybe a wee bit whiney... I do apologise but that's all I can remember. I should've asked when I heard it, I know. Thanks in advance
  11. Nae a big fan. Jason Mraz will own his whiney ass on his arena tour
  12. I love White Christmas when it's dingin' doon snow. Santa Clause Is Coming To Town is also a favourite. As is Winter Wonderland. The Living End did a funky Jingle Bell Rock with Kylie Minogue "singing". If it wasn't for her, I'd like it a whole lot better. This Time of Year by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, X-miss & The Christmas Song by New Found Glory and Christmas Night Of Zombies by MXPX are nice alternatives
  13. The Moorings over Tunnels any day. Always has an atmosphere, way friendlier staff and cheaper drinks (with nice student discount). Loses when it comes to the bogs though...
  14. Hmmm, I'd say both Keesher a.k.a Stephen and Gumpy seem to be quite popular. Phat Tom, JJ and Paulscocoass too. Why? Probably since they're all relatively friendly and get out a lot. Helps a few are in bands too, I guess. Dunno about the chicas though. Edit - somehow I got 'most popular' in my head when replying. I'm sure you know what I'm getting at though.
  15. Dunno about Million Dead and Whitmore but Howards Alias splitting up is a massive blow to the UK underground scene. For over 5 years they constantly toured the UK, put out 3 fantastic albums and were still criminally underrated. Their last offering, 'Beat Heart, Beat' is an absolute gem of an album, showing progress at its finest. A million miles away from their debut, The Chameleon Script, it's dark, heavy, filled with beautiful lyrics and trombone and keys in all the right places. Once a ska band, always a ska band though, it seems. And the ska scene is hardly buzzing these days. But I'm sure anyone who caught them live or purchased The Answer Is Never and/or Beat Heart, Beat can agree with me here. Have a look about for Difflam, Love Loss Learn or The Drive and tell me people won't miss them
  16. I'm afraid the title goes to Lyn Sculley from Neighbours
  17. 1. Johnny Depp - just to look in awe at 2. Shawn Michaels - duh! 3. John Travolta - to dance with 4. Andy Roddick - for a game of tennis 5 & 6. Matthew Reynolds and Nick Horne to provide some music 7. my grandad (the one that died) - someone to drink all the whisky 8. Claire Illingworth to enjoy the festives with 9. Steve Irwin - for the shits and giggles and for the phrases 10. Seann William Scott for jokes & pranks
  18. Now if this isn't the coolest most sad thing I've ever seen... The guy has timed his Christmas lights to fit this metal Christmas ballad. Amazing. The ending is magical! http://media.putfile.com/WizardsofWinter-SM The song is Winter Wizard by the Trans Siberian Orchestra.
  19. Is that on radio or satellite or what? Wouldn't mind catching The Matches tomorrow
