  1. Good choice! NEXT Thursday in Glasgow is all about Zebrahead :D:D
  2. Awesome, congratulations! Toronto is amazing, sure it'll be most fun. All the best
  3. What job are you doing there Lesley? My chum Lynne got a job as a receptionist. She was told to bring her gear for a skate on induction day, don't think she was too excited But yeah, I'm sure it'll be a huge success and it's about time something like it was built in the city. Also, unlike the B.O.D. outdoor park, this'll hopefully stay vandal-free!
  4. Nabbed off the Punktastic forums: Jeez-oh! Says it all in there, really.
  5. May be of interest.... Strung Out tour in June: 26th June - London Underworld 27th June - Newport Wales 28th June - Glasgow King Tuts 29th June - Music Box Manchester
  6. I'm right looking forward to this now, nice way to start the Easter break! Splashed out on a 5 clutch bag that's going to annoy the fuck out of me, but after a good few, sure I won't notice. I love seeing everyone dressed up
  7. Crazy Arm were amazing. Shit name, fantastic music. Really enjoyed their set. They fairly give it their all, totally worth checking out. Fingers crossed they decide to come back up. Yeah, pretty disappointed about the short HA set and the crowd too. But they did a fine job as always. Really hoped they'd have some new material on show but still pleased to hear a few off The Answer Is Never. I think they said another tour is in order in July but I can't really remember.
  8. Does exactly what it says on the tin. The mighty Howards Alias are back and returning to Aberdeen for the first time since October '05. If you like your prog rock with a bit of reggae, Howards Alias should already be your favourite band. They are one of the finest live acts you ever will see. http://www.myspace.com/howardsalias With support from: Contra Dirtbox Crashdown
  9. Wouldn't mind seeing these lot again. Missed the last couple of times they've been up. Any idea of support?
  10. I second Nazma or the Jewel in the Crown. Both lovely jubbly. We went to Kury on King St last night, it was nothing special. Quite disappointing, good job I was hungry though.
  11. YouTube - Joss presents Best British Solo Male at 2007 Brit Awards God only knows. When she says "he's so inspiring"... Cracking pair of legs though. I can't get over how hot Jason Orange is these days. The award for Patience was indeed well-deserved. Their new tune is a cracker also!
  12. Matt Smith who does ITV football... I fancy him. He's boring as shits but on mute, phwoar. Although my favourite has to be Simon Grant who was on CBBC, always before Neighbours in the evening.
  13. Dunno if there's touring support but Claire's brother's band Forgotten Shaddow & Unification are playing.... come get wasted Dave, we'll deserve it
  14. Ah, wait 'til you see Failsafe live (if you haven't already). They are fanbloodytastic.
  15. 8 and 7.30, if my memory is correct. Either way, this is going to be amazing. An awesome UK line-up
  16. I think I saw those in John Lewis but they were like 100! So I didn't buy one for my bro! I got a new digital camera after my old one pretty much konked out. Also got Chasing Amy DVD, a Lightyear album to replace my scratched one, a couple of tops, Malibu, Jack, a bag and a tidy wee sum. Hope you all had a nice day!
  17. Awesome, looking forward to finally seeing Short Notice. Any rough idea what time they'll be on? It's going to be a mad next day at work
  18. See the first reply, Camie Aye, I didn't think they were ever going to come on but they made up for wasted time once they took to the stage. I can't believe I used to really not like Skindred. They put their usual live shindig, with Benji providing some lols. The whole starting and stopping got on my nerves again but the crowd lapped it up. Disappointed with the lack of new material, and the fact they only played one song that's not off Babylon. The Fear, Set It Off and the Pressure story/makover were highlights. Dub Trio were on fire. Really tight and loud and when they were rocking, they were rocking. Really listenable stuff. Not particulalry amazing to watch, what with no lyrics or banter, but the music more than made up for it. Great gig for Contra too. Despite the crowd being distant and quiet, they did what they do best. Gerald always looks like he's having the most fun on stage, and that's great to watch. Heavy Brain Damage is such a TUNE! Will be giving the new CD a few spins later. Overall, 8 well spent. Shame there seemed to be about half the people there was at the last Skindred gig. Oh, and that piece of "art" opposite the Tunnels... nice o_O
  19. Bilateral talipes Broken arm Split forehead Bust knee (that was NASTY) Sliced open leg
  20. If by "full band" you mean more than the 4 of them, I wouldn't think so but you never know. The 'guest appearances' for the brass parts I think are usually just for bigger gigs such as the Leeds & Reading the bigger support slots. They can always manage perfectly well without them what with the samples and all
  21. Camie, I've told you... buy it!! And check out the live mash-up of SB6's People Ack Like The Don't Know and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones's The Impression that I Get: Awesome gig it was. Can't believe I only caught the last 2 Buzzkill songs. Sounded nice but there wasn't much crowd action going down. The King Blues fairly sorted that out though. Absolutely magic set, especially the opener and the carnival feeling during These Streets are Ours. The Feb tour is going to be amazing, all 4 bands are terrific And as for Capdown, they didn't disappoint. Signature Capdown live performance. I didn't expect it to be THAT busy, but having the crowd going for the whole set was very pleasing. Very much looking forward to the new album. Shame they're not playing here on the February tour. A thank you for this one, RFR
  22. I can't wait for this one. Read a couple of magic reviews; Capdown have picked their set nicely. Looking forward to hearing some new King Blues tunes
  23. Well you do often act like a child. P.S.
