Spoonie
I'd recommend that, before buying any bottles of Jeremiah Weed, don't buy any bottles of Jeremiah Weed. Foul stuff. The Sour Mash one was sort of ok though I wouldn't have it again. The Root Brew one was grim as fuck. I couldn't finish it.What kind of poof are you? Are you Jake in disguise? Get it down you!! Soda Jerk
It's just a load of fizzy sugar and shit. Fuck that. You might as well put a sparkler and a parasol in it, and serve it in a fishbowl to groups of screaming women on a hen do. Shove your lasses drink up your arse. ca_gere
This thread was good. Was served this last night. Was lovely. Also Goose Island Summertime is great. I normally drink their IPA but seeing as the weather was nice I tried this. No weird flavours, just really refreshing... which is what a summer drink should be i suppose. Woodsinho
I've been getting into the Orkney Brewery's stuff lately, especially these two: Dragonhead is a smokey stout that tastes good in your mouth. Corncrake Ale is a lighter beer that also tastes good in your mouth. They both get my Stamp of approval:
ca_gere
It's all kicking off on another thread r.e. whisky/bourbon. I may have posted this stuff before but fuck it, had it again the other day and it's so bloody good it needs to be posted again.
Soda Jerk
The fancy wineshop down the road from me sells imported bourbon. I just got a bottle of Wild Turkey. Never seen it in shops before. It's like 50%abv. Sheeeet.
ca_gere
This is quite possibly the best beer I've ever tasted. Thought I'd share.

ca_gere
Has anyone on here ever had a pickleback shot? It's a shot of whisky followed by a shot of pickle juice. Sounds disgusting but tastes amazing. If it's a good brine with lots of flavour and a good whisky the two compliment each other perfectly. A homemade version would just be to pour some of the brine from a jar of gherkins. Try it.

Chris
I was introduced to this drink recently by a good friend who loves/knows his booze. He absolutely swears by this drink. If im not drinking beer or wine, this has replaced a whisky sour as my go to 'cocktail'. I haven't tried a whisky sour. Looked it up the other day though and realised I was drinking something very similar the other week when my Polish manager started suggesting everyone drink vodka with fresh lemon juice on a night out. That was ace, so imagine I'd love a whisky sour.
Pierre Von Mondragon
Newcastle Brown Ale is top dollarUntil it nukes your ringpiece, as it surely will. I'm liking Waitrose German Pils, made by Memminger of Bavaria, St. Mungos, and now Winter is a coming, it's nearly Laphroaig time. Also Guinness Foreign Extra
ca_gere
I found out yesterday much to my surprise that Stella Artois do Cider now. Saw a stella bottle that just didnt look right, had to take a closer look. Some people just want to watch the world burn.
Surfer_Rosa
That's been sale for a year or two here. It's probably the only cider that I actually like other than Addlestones, and that has a tendency to ruin my life.
