jon
I caught the Ron Mueck exhibition in Manchester, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Oddly, I have a lot of time for a lot of the pre-Raphaelite religious works, just because they are so brilliantly done. I appreciate a bit of Socialist Realism, and I'm a fan of the nastier elements of Bosch. In short, I have a lot of time for a lot of artists both modern and classical, but the video that this thread is about is simply nonsense. IamScrooge
It's ironic that it's a Les Paul that is featured. I thought those guitars were meant to be amazing for tone? The inclusion of the Les Paul is very intentional Dont see the point when you could have a fat strat. As with art, its like the mannie fa kissed the pigs arse. Its all a matter o taste.

Spoonie
"I'm currently writing my own magazine and it's all about my balls" was my favourite.I've had a right old hoot reading this today. I went to the Tate Modern the last time I was down in London and it's fucking hard work. There was a stripey stick and a few bits of wood with wool hanging off them and I was like 'poke this' so we went and got fish and chips. I had been sick all over the place on the plane no the way down tho, so that probably didn't help my appreciation.

Doing myself no favours.
Spoonie
I didn't mean that's all there was, there's fucking loads of stuff, some which I quite enjoyed looking at and reading about, but when I got to that I realised enough was enough. Teabags
I'm a total hypocrite. Cos while I think that was fucking atrocious, and just Yoko striving for attention, I really like this... and this... However, Naked City with Yamatsuka Eye makes alot more sense than Yoko joining into an old classic randomly. And a small noisy as fuck angry japanese man (Yamatsuka Eye) in a small club makes more sense than an "art installation" which is a woman badly faking an orgasm for 4 minutes. In my mind anyway.Basically. Yamatsuka Eye > Yoko Ono
