Soda Jerk
He's good in Gavin and Stacey, when he's reading lines that have been thought out and pre-written. On the spot, he's shite. He just shouts things that aren't funny, and not even in an entertaining Will Ferrell sort of way.
Alkaline
He's good in Gavin and Stacey, when he's reading lines that have been thought out and pre-written. On the spot, he's shite. He just shouts things that aren't funny, and not even in an entertaining Will Ferrell sort of way.He did write most of the lines though (with Ruth Jones). Most comedians, stand up or otherwise usually pre-write their skits. I agree he can be irritating though so i understand why people would get bent out of shape about his increasing exposure. Soda Jerk
Oh yeah, I was aware he wrote most of it, so he's clearly a funny chap. Not so good on the spot when he's on these panel shows and the like. He's like a televised version of the loudest lad on Belmont Street on a Saturday night. Monster Zero
By "good quips" do you mean repeating something in a high hysterical voice?I mean that he is 99% more likely to say something funny than Piers Morgan or Amanda Holden. That's good enough for me.

Guest
I often wonder who Dara O'Briain sucked off in order to become a full-time professional comedian.Saw him in Edinburgh, absolutely fantastic stand-up with well crafted jokes and a ridiculous amount of off the cuff wit and audience interaction.MacIntyre is shite though. Ludicrously unfunny.
Monster Zero
Yeah, but so is Kim Jong-Il.I'd be happy to have him on as well for the comedy specs and similar hairstyle to Cowell. Plus he would nuke the most disappointing applicants. And possibly Cowell if he annoyed him. Wins all round I say.

I've never seen it before yet care too little to google it.

I thought 'appointments not always necessary' was the accepted phrase. Man I feel dumb.
