KarmaTsunami
Myspace don't half arse around with cancelling your account do they? Anyway, aceness of the day, my new Netbook! Hello portability and tiny cuteness!
Bigsby
actually removing your account from a message board when everything you've said remains seems a bit futile. You can't search for all of a user's posts once the account has been removed. What I don't get is that some people who have apparently been banned still have accounts that seem active, their avatar still shows etc. Milner for example. If I recall, Milner was whining on one of the tech issue forums about his being beaten with the ban stick.Poor lad.
davewarden
I had 2 myspace accounts (3 if you count Cobra Kai's page) and I never log into any of them. I get swamped with emails saying "you have a new comment" and it's just folk spamming my page. Or "You have a new message" which is just somebody spamming me about something else. Myspace has become so much about self-promotion that nobody actually uses it to network any more, and nobody takes any notice of your self promotion. It's a handy tool to have to upload your music on so you can give people the address, but that's all it's good for.Not just choose to stop recieving emails from myspace?. Soda Jerk
Meh. Fuck them. It's easier to just bin it altogether. You'd think so, but they make you press so many buttons, either to prevent you deleting your account by accident, or to make you think "Fuck this. I could have built a house by now" and stick with it.
Chris
Making an offer to buy a house. A fucking HOUSE. Then having it accepted. That's pretty ace, not to mention amazingly grown up.

Graham
Bebo has just been destroyed by spam. I was getting about 10 new mail messages everyday from camsluts saying things like "Hey, you're so sexy, hit me up on MSN" or whatever, and hundreds of friend requests from fictional women looking suggestive in front of their cameras and a page which was just a link to some porn site. It was driving me nuts, plus none of my mates used it anymore so it was time for that to go.I get a stupid amount of these fake requests on bebo. I've started to report them for spam so the pages get deleted. I hope I am single handedly destroying the bebo porn spam industry.

I hope I am single handedly destroying the bebo porn spam industry.I was doing that as well but when you're getting like 20 mails a day it takes far too long to go through and report them all individually! I don't know how they couldn't manage to prevent them from signing up. It's obviously some kind of bot that was doing it. Facebook has managed to stop it happening so why couldn't Bebo? There's loads of them on Twitter now as well.
Alkaline
I'm close to ditching myspace as well as i use Spotify for checking out new music. I'm just waiting to see if Spotify weather the financial storm they're in at the moment before i take the leap.
Murrr
My Twitter thing was shut down due to "suspicious activity," apparently. I'm guessing some rasclart spambot bastid must've got inside it or something. I was actually quite glad, though. Twitter is fucking bollocks. Who gives a shit what type of milk Stephen Fry puts on his cornflakes or what Jonathan Ross' morning routine is?Bebo's absolutely outrageous though; I was getting at least 10-15 spam emails a day from them 'til I disabled the email alerts. I'd delete my page if I could be arsed downloading all the photos first.

In the end I just saved a few photos that I particularly liked (and don't already have on my computer).Apart from a handful of mates, the folk I followed on Twitter was Chris Jericho, The Miz, Matt Hardy and Kofi Kingston

Soda Jerk
I keep finding alot of stuff from Spotify is disappearing. Albums I would listen to regularly being taken down. I concocted some kind of madcap theory that perhaps you get a certain quota before Spotify tell you to stop being a cheap cunt and buy the song/record. Turns out it wasn't there for other people either.Hopefully it will continue to grow. Easily the best thing to happen to the future-proofing of music in a long time. Alkaline
What's the story here? Spotify struggling? They get charged everytime someone plays a song obviously and they only get revenue from advertising and it's not generating anywhere near enough money to cover costs. The iPhone app has caused a bit of a logistical nightmare for them too that's why it's only available to subscribers.
Lemonade
Wirelessly posted (SonyEricssonK770i/R8BC Browser/NetFront/3.3 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)It's much worse for ads than it used to be, pretty much every second song has an ad after it. I don't really use it enough to justify subscribing tho.
Bigsby
My mate has the iPhone thingy and says its well worth a tenner, apparently the tracks download onto your phone so you don't need to be within wireless range to listen to them all the time.
