Soda Jerk Posted July 4, 2011 Report Share Posted July 4, 2011 Just spent the weekend down in Somerset. It was smashing. Bath is quite a wonderful city centre. Overwhelmingly clean and very picturesque. Had a nosey down Cheddar Gorge on the Sunday, too. Absolutely stunning part of the country. A bit touristy, but all the tourist shops mostly sell still, home made scrumpy cider sold in containers you'd expect motor oil to be sold in, and umpteen different kinds of cheddar cheese. So, they are good tourist shops.It was also around 30 degrees all weekend too. Absolutely glorious. My neck is a bit pink though.Mint! Thrilled for Japan though, they just didn't fucking quit.Also, I love that their captain literally doesn't know what to do with herself getting the awards!! She's just stunned!
