Cutting out alcohol until a wedding next month too, and hopefully get myself back out running again.This time last year I had just done the Loch Ness Marathon. Trawling through websites is killing me Preferably without the kind of fuckwits I currently work with... one girl refused to serve a guy because he was being "a dick". He had a reasonable request, and that was for her to tie her fucking hair up properly and to stop touching her face then the coffee immediately afterwards. It was hard to resist slapping her. It's probably the fact that no matter how much I spoke to staff (nicely btw) about doing a job properly so things ran smoothly for the whole team, I was ignored. People don't turn up for shifts because they were out the night before and there's no discipline, people turn up late and they don't seem to realise that it does cause a problem. I set Sky+ for the Formula 1, race starting at 7am. The start was delayed because of the rain, so it was all running late, and about 20 laps from the end of the race, the BBC decided to move the race on to BBC 2. So my Sky + just thought the program was finished and stopped recording it (for the second time this season). And the iPlayer has "The Korean Grand Prix part 1" on it, but not "The Korean Grand Prix part 2" and it ends at the same place as my recording did. They also have the "Post race forum" on there as well - they just haven't bothered putting on part 2 of the race.So the only way I could see what happened in the last 20 laps was to go onto the BBC's Formula 1 news page and look for the highlights video (or wait two hours for the replay to start, then wait another hour and a half to get back to where I was). And of course, the fucking result of the race is on the front page of the news site you have to get through to get the highlights. So that ruined the whole race for me. Not content with allowing just over 200 to wander out of my account due to some fucker's fraud, they passed my claim to the "non-fraudulent claims department" purely because the person using my card had also supplied my name, date of birth, address, postcode and e-mail address to the sites he was paying with my money. They reckon it'll take at least a month to get a decision on whether they'll give me my money back themselves or not.
