So, what is everybody's favourite bassline!?

My personal three favourites right now are (off the top of my head):

Nightshift - The Commodores

Come On, Come Over - Jaco Pastorius

Tired of Sex - Weezer (not fancy by any means, just cool)

These will probably be updated/changed once I actually sit and think about it.

Give it Away - Red Hot Chilli Peppers

YYZ - Rush

New Years Day - U2

I Heard It On The Grapevine - Marvin Gaye (any Motown with the bass beast James Jamerson)

Sugarhill Gang - Rapper's Delight

just sayin..

maybe not the best, but easily the catchiest. it pretty much stuck in my head just through mentioning it.

Meet Me in St. Louis - 'You're Doomed' does it for me.

Isis - 'In Fiction'

The intro to City of Caterpillar - 'A Heartfelt Reaction to Dissatisfaction' is pretty catchy too.
