Adam Easy Wishes
Yeah, you're right. Probably in place of Mair with Zander and Considine in the centre of defence and Mulgrew to left back..?

Adam Easy Wishes
I'd put money on Young starting.
stuartmaxwell
decent game last night I thought. commons was good, macgregor was good, brown was good, clubfoot looked decent too. Argentina are pretty swell with the ball and it was a bit of cat playing with the wool feel about last night. at least it wasnt embarrasing! Jim Stax
I'd put money on Young starting. And Aluko on the bench because he made 'a' mistake and also mouthed back the Calderwood.I gave up trying to guess the Dons starting line up and possible formations sometime ago. Nev
I did always have the feeling they could have torn us apart if they wanted to, but we did play some nice football at times as well. Disappointed we didn't test their keeper more as he looked dodgy as...Yon midget left back going down in front of the linesman when no challenge was made was a disgrace. He did seem rather shaken by the abuse he got afterwards... don't think he played a decent pass at all after the booing started.Saying that, given it was right in front of the linesman, and he gave the foul, he should be shot. Johnny Mac
Aye, a few of the Argentinians were falling all over the shop last night.Must have been a few sniper rifles in the crowd.Bunch of blouses.
Nev
Incidentally, Barry Ferguson appeared a yard off his normal pace, so two yards off the pace of the game. The sooner he's papped out of the Scotland setup, the better as far as I'm concerned.
Dan G
Disappointing. I just assumed that due to his total lack of positional sense and his gift for perpetual motion he must have got fairly close to you at some point.hahaha.Maybe he did - I just assumed it was some goon wearing a replica dons kit... Johnny Mac
Maybe he did - I just assumed it was some goon wearing a replica dons kit...Dan, that's being kind to Mackie. He wouldn't get a game with us on a Monday night at goals.... which is saying something. Adam Easy Wishes
I actually like Mackie. He's not gifted technically, but he puts himself about and cares about playing for Aberdeen.

Dan G
I used to train with Montrose FC when I was about 16 - back in the classic days of Kevin Tindall, Mark Craib and Mark Haro I believe. Colin 'Judas' McGlashan had moved to Arbroath though.Don't even know if Maxi went to Mo games back then.
stuartmaxwell
around the 94/95 when we went up at Cowden was the best team we had for a long time and is still looked at as a "glory" time. When younger, we used to get free tickets to home games frequently through Bo Boys FC / School team and at a later point when Mo Youths FC was amalgamated. I never went to the amount of games I go to now, but we still got along quite frequently. I think if the club had the "community" feel it has now through the associated youth ranks, there would have been more of us along at every gameThe hallowed mcglashan / kennedy partnership, both were banging em in and we have havent had a partnership that has been as good since. Good induvidual guys like Stevie Laidlaw, Craig Smart (best of a terrible bunch) and in recent times Baird and to some extent Michie were good at scoring, but none of them can really work a good partnership like Kennedy & McGlashan did. I remember getting to Caddy for Kennedy at the Pro Am and being gutted that he smoked and drank round the course It was also great to have a chat with Davie Larter recently at the Legends do,an incredible servant to the club and was a great goalkeeper.you are right about "that" defence, totally struck fear into people
