Captain America
Why would Joe Allen state Liverpool over Spurs or even Newcastle? What a fanny.History blah blah.He signed it at the start of the season last year so I guess he either likes Liverpool or believed in what they were doing last summer..? Soda Jerk
Do people like Liverpool? I thought just some people hated them slightly less than others.

Soda Jerk
Did you all hear that Tony Hibbert scored a goal last night? It was a friendly, so that probably explains why the world didn't cave in to a black hole, so perhaps it doesn't really count. The day a competitive goal from Hibbert hits the net, that's it. Curtains for everyone. Still, he scored a goal last night. I bet he was chuffed.

Lemonade
Like in Alan Shearer's testimonial when he came on (injured) at 2-2 with 2 minutes to play, and then by sheer coincedence Celtic gave away a last minute penalty and Shearer stepped up to score the winner? Testimonials are becoming more and more like WWE.

The guy who slaps him on the back as he goes on used to go to my school and is shagging Shearer's daughter. What a fucking cunt. I was his first friend in England as well. Bastard. Adam Easy Wishes
Aberdeen have re-signed Mark Reynolds on loan from Sheffield Wednesday. Great signing. Probably now have the strongest squaaaad we've had since the Calderwood era. Bring on County on Saturday!

The Milner
Yeah thats a good one, he looked solid last year, although is he going to play ahead of Considine?

Scootray
I worked it out yesterday that there were 7112 home tickets left. There's been another 200 season tickets sold since then. Add on maybe 1000 walk ins and could be a great atmosphere come this weekend.
The Milner
The Man Utd game is a sell out as well, should be a cracking first few home games.
Murrr
Heading along to Pittodrie for my annual game of the season. Actually feeling really optimistic about it as I think Brown has made some dead good signings this summer, and I'll get to see Russell Anderson in the flesh again... Eupraxia
I think Aberdeen have good a good balance to the squad now with actual full-backs and wide midfielders. Injuries and suspensions will inevitably play a large part in the outcome of certain games and the season as a whole, but I reckon Aberdeen could achieve a top six spot this season. I think most Aberdeen fans know that if Anderson can play 60-70% of the league games this season, then The Dons will be a tougher proposition.Sadly, I think Rangers will still be in with a very good shout for both of the main domestic cups. They are going to rout the third division. They have a better first eleven than most SPL teams.
Scootray
I still really don't understand the decision to allow the transfer embargo to apply AFTER this window closes. Ridiculous. They have plenty of players already.
