keeno
At least the SPL clubs have integrity. Hopefully the SFL clubs will stand up to Rangers too.
MattJimF
It's not newco they need to stand up to, it's dingbat Doncaster and retard Regan they need to tell to fuck off.
The Milner
Yeah i dont think this really means much, it was already known that the SPL clubs would vote no, thats why they had the meeting with the SFL clubs first. That hasnt stopped the SPL from saying SPL football is still an option for Rangers.

That hasnt stopped the SPL from saying SPL football is still an option for Rangers.SPL is no longer an option. They're oot. Doncaster said this morning that a vote wouldn't happen, obviously the clubs stuck to their publicly stated principles and voted anyway. There will be no Rangers in the SPL next season. Now the SFL need to decide if they're going to be bullied into letting them into Div1 or if they'll make them apply for Div3 like any other new club. Reading that Clyde statement is really scary, it shows exactly how our game has been ran for the past god knows how long. If the SFL clubs all vote no to the 1st division where does that leave us? Doncaster has already said div3 is not an option at all no matter what the outcome of both votes were.
Chris
Doncaster's position is completely untenable now. He said this morning there wouldn't be a vote. Last year he said the clubs would vote through a 10 team league and SPL2. He's consistently wrong and mis-judged the clubs and the will of the fans. He surely has to be out of a job. Spoonie
This is a positive step tho, so fingers crossed we can start to see the league put its house in order and push on from here.

Captain America
Liverpool fans are still great.June 16 - Liverpool FC News þ@LiverpooIFCNewsSigurdsson is a great signing, 22 years old, 18 appearances, 7 goals and 4 assists from midfield for Swansea last season.15 minutes ago - Liverpool FC News þ@LiverpooIFCNewsGlad the Sigurdsson saga is over now, he was hyped up for weeks but reality is 99% of us didn't know who he was before Swansea loan. Soda Jerk
Really good signing though. I wish United had gone for him. He's better than Anderson. Then again, perhaps United need a better transfer policy than "Better than Anderson" otherwise I'd be playing for United.

Paranoid Android
My bet is on united not signing any midfielders. Which will be completely stupid.Edit- any more I should say. Forgot about Kagawa who will be good but they need more I think.
Woodsinho
Tom Cleverley will be like a new signing for them assuming he doesn't get injured playing in the olympics.Assuming he doesn't manage to get injured before playing in the olympics. Murrr
Still think United need a gritter player in there. Even Barcelona have Biscuits.
Alkaline
Still think United need a gritter player in there. Even Barcelona have Biscuits.Aye, i think Kagawa and Powell are more likley to fill the old Paul Scholes role. They need a tough tackling midfielder who can win the ball and play it forward well. Captain America
Looks like that's RVP off. Shame but I can see 200,000 reasons a week that he'd go.
Murrr
According to local press we're getting Debuchy. What a signing that would be. From Backpedal Simpson to France's first-choice RB. Ridiculous.PS: Simpson is shit.
Soda Jerk
They've needed one since Roy Keane decided he hated football. Hargreaves was the man, but now he's disabled, and gone. Pogba was meant to be the man after Hargreaves, but he's fucked off, the slimy cunt. If Carrick wasn't soft and could tackle, he'd be better than Schweinsteiger. But he is soft, ans is scared of tackling, so he's not that great. Fletcher's good at getting stuck in, but is he going to play again? He's lost a ton of weight, so it's going to take a massive step up for him to get back. Shame.Robin Van Persie isn't signing a new contract. That's pretty huge. He'll be off to Arsenal's parent club then. City.
