Soda Jerk
What a crap story. I was hoping it would spark a merry go round of backstabbing. Rooney to citeh. Torres to united. Moyes to Liverpool. Now we just have to settle for boring football. Gay.
Soda Jerk
So he's going down the Ronaldo exit strategy route after all. This one isn't over yet. It's still possible, but I didn't think he'd sign a deal that would keep him until 2015 if he was planning on going the same way. When Ronaldo re-signed, he didn't really say anything, where as Rooney has come out about actually changing his mind now. It's a strange one.Something totally exciting better come of this. I've never pressed refresh on BBC News Footbal page in my life as I have over the past few days. Seemed like there was an update every 10 minutes, and another manager came out of the woodwork saying he should stay, or that they were ruling out a bid for him... Except for 'Arry of course, who was talking about putting in a "cheeky bid" at every opportunity. Tact. 'Arry's got it.

Shaki
Ian Holloway's obviously changed Wazza's mind.I can imagine players across world football stopped in their tracks this morning and reevaluated not only their mindset with regards contract negotiations but their WHOLE LIFE. Soda Jerk
Rio was evidently unmerked by this saga, as documented by his Twitter"No doubt in my mind tweebs. Wazza is Man Utd through and through"The Queens English doesn't half take a relentless beating by footballers.
Scootray
If he was so Utd through and through, none of this would've happened.
Soda Jerk
I can still see him getting boo'd, whenever he plays again.

Guest idol_wild
Holloway is a fine fine man. He almost blurted out several offensive adjectives, especially towards FIFA:(on the topic of the freedom of contract at the age of 24 ruling):I mean who's blimmin' idea was that? Football was doing great until some absolute...person...came and decided that! Sort yer life out! What a guy.
Soda Jerk
Holloway for England. He'll never be haunted by the Bosman ruling again. Just playing ridicuously dangerous attacking football. Like Chile. Have it!
Soda Jerk
Portsmouth are FUCKED.Alot of reasonable players will become free agents. The Nuge. Kanu. SONKO. Kitson. John Ut... no. Not him.Kanu can still hack it though. He's better than Adebayor.
Scootray
So what happens now? One less game for everyone or does a League 1 team apply for a position?
RossP
So what happens now? One less game for everyone or does a League 1 team apply for a position? It must be a cancellation of all teams' results v. Portsmouth I'm guessing...Christ knows what happens with relegation and promotion at the end of the season though ?(

Nev
Think the Pompey administrator is trying to force Gaydamak's hand with this announcement. Gaydamak wants some sort of return, so liquidation isn't to his benefit.Watching the Brizzle City/QPR game. What is the deal with Steadinho? So bad and yet so good at the same time!
