Guest
Something I learned today: no matter how hard you scrub, blood and matted hair will stick to a hammer like glue!
Teabags
In the entire history of the NHL, this year is the first time that the Captains of the final two teams are both American.
Teabags
On top of that, only one American born Captain has ever won the Stanley Cup; Derian Hatcher with the Stars in 1999.
Teabags
Just found out, that there have only been 3 non-Canadian captains to ever win the Stanley Cup. 1 American, 1 Swedish and 1 Slovakian. 2 Captains that weren't born in Canada (one in Scotland and 1 in Russia) won it in the 1930s, but both were brought up and trained in Canada. That's fucking mental.

Teabags
Yeah. He was the first European born and trained Captain to lift it.
Frosty Jack
The actor who was Spencer in Balamory actually is American. He is now a bus driver for Stagecoach. He is also a devout Christian. His daughter is a hardcore porn star in the US, which she blames on her strict Christian upbringing.

Frosty Jack
He retired yesterday. Gutted.Wow, tough sport. With footballers it's usually a knackered knee or hamstring or something.
Teabags
He's probably had a fair few of them. But he's 41!
Soda Jerk
Crazy. It felt like he'd never retire. Him and Chelios was a mean defensive line. Hard bastards.I still have my #5 Lidstrom Red Wings jersey that I got when I was 12 in the States. It doesn't fit, and it's gone a bit discoloured. I didn't even want it because I'd never heard of him. I wanted Steve Yzerman, but they didnt have any left. Or Federov. I almost got McCarty. Everyone loves a goon. He was the biggest dick, folowed by Archie or Angus or whatever his name was. The one that lived in the pink house and wore a kilt. Penny Pocket was the nicest one. She even gave me Christmas card! Miss Hooley was nice as well. Ron from Cobra Kai claims he saw her fanny once.

All I could think of is "is his canadian accent in the first series real?"No, he's Glaswegian, still living in Glasgow I saw him outside the theatre when I was down there a few months ago, but was in a hurry so couldn't stop to ask for a photo with him
Jaaakkkeee
So why'd he put it on? If there's one thing I hated about season 1 of CTF, it was them doing the wee show host bits. Ahwell.Today I learned that a cat will kick a window to help in climbing curtains.
Frosty Jack
So why'd he put it on?"Hemphill was born in Glasgow, Scotland...The family left Scotland when Greg was 6 years old, and he spent much of his childhood in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, which has contributed to his distinctive Scottish-Canadian accent."http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Hemphill
