Jaaakkkeee
The UFC one was on last night. You can tell it just doesn't flow right either. Between scene changes the 'camera' stays on a character too long after the joke. It's like the live episode of 30 Rock, when the camera stayed on the reactions of characters for ages until the other ones were ready. Horrible to watch. The only difference is 30 Rock was funny so you could let it slide, also it isn't a cartoon.

Soda Jerk
Fuck all the "golden era is the only era" noise. Channel 4 are currently showing Season 17, and they've all been bloody marvellous so far. Old stuff is still best but there's still plenty of awesome in the new 'uns. Jaaakkkeee
It's the ones in HD that are shit.
Paranoid Android
There might be decent newer episodes of the Simpsons but I'm not going to risk it finding out. The ones I have seen have been so awful. I think the last time I watched a "new" simpsons episode it was one where Marge and Homer had apparently been at college together in the 90's and Homer was basically Kurt Cobain.Horrible, horrible episode. Golden era is the only era for me, everything after might as well not exist.
Jaaakkkeee
You know how the film just didn't quite flow right? And a lot of jokes seemed to fall flat due to it lingering about on a scene? That's what the new ones are like. It's hard to watch.
Paranoid Android
I thought the film was actually significantly better than most newer episodes I've seen.It feels like a completely different show now. The humour is totally different and the animation has changed.
Jaaakkkeee
Oh, the film was funny, but the flow didn't sit right with me. Didn't change scenes properly. It was like watching a school play trying to change scenes. The simple fact is the new ones are shit in comparison. The newer they are the worse they get. Maybe if it gets cancelled we might get a really funny revival on Comedy Central.
Paranoid Android
I find it quite weird that there are so many episodes I haven't seen of a show that I love and is by far my favourite comedy ever. I have loads of dvds and there are maybe like 200 episodes of brilliance but that's not even half of the show. Crazy.
Old Gold
It's downright awful how vastly they've refined the animation. Completely void of charm.
