stuartmaxwell
I still have a place in my heart for The Welles, Adam and JJ have great tunewriting skills togetherStill one of my fav local bands to this day, Postcards, June 21st, London Lights, Look out the Window. Yas and Min. Im sure all of the fowk who are now into into cap n jazz, rockets and blue lights, jupiter lander and all of that kind of ilk would love em**Totally forgot about Fault and Fracture, thought they were brilliant and easily could have done so much more in their practically gig-less existance. They had some wicked tunes which they never recorded or released. dicks.** they arent an emo band as such, more just a great indie pop band. please refrain from calling them insertsomethinghere-mo as it is degrading and reeks of those tossers from that "c" website

Guest treader.
i'd agree with the welles.'Work Ethic' is really good. The riff at the start as it bursts in the the "MONEY MONEY MONEY" section is cool as heck.

Huw
me and ian snafu were actually discussing how every band has one great song, they maybe dont know it and to them its just another song in the set but i think its pretty true. like they hit their stride on that one track and it all stands out.i think a lot of local bands have this in spades.for example:karrta - henri got cancerrescue party - derelictlorenzo snow - break apartthe needles - dianeten easy wishes - kitesedgar prais' pop song no. 93 is pretty stand out i think. the first line of that vocal melody is gorgeous.going by we shall be blessed's (utterly teckle) last few sets and by listening to snatcher A LOT they had wads of potential to become something pretty good. i i thought the new vocals sat so much better over the top of the 7 strings (no offence to chris). they definitely got the tech melodic balance spot on and lost any gimmick they may have once had. just wish they recorded the rest of that set!Totally forgot about Fault and Fracture, thought they were brilliant and easily could have done so much more in their practically gig-less existance. They had some wicked tunes which they never recorded or released. dicks.give us a shout on msn and i'll send you the mp3s for the old recordings and the one we did in Feb.
