framheim
just got my first one today. lee at retro rebels was really good, can't believe how much detail he was able to do on a fairly small tattoo. thanks to gabi reith for letting me use the picture: Gabrielle Reith Artworks 2008 - painting / textiles / illustration / design
Alkaline
That's a nice wee drawing/tattoo there Dave. Why would you have to ask permission to use the picture though?

You got the bug for getting more then?yea, already have a concept for adding to this one. i'd like to add leaves drawn in a similar style so that they're framing the bird almost. be a while before i can afford that though. unbroken
Do they do other types of birdsNot to come across as a dick, but I'm sure if you went in and discussed it with the tattooist, you could come up with something that you are both happy with. I'm sure they could do any type of bird.

Lemonade
Has anyone been to the tattoist in Elgin? Is it any good? I'm going up there next week for a week and I'll drive past it every day. I thought I might pop in and get something if he's any good.

RossP
I got a simple white ink tattoo done there about 7 or 8 years ago. Happy enough with it, but i'd definitely go somewhere else for complex ones.

KarmaTsunami
Paul Slifer's work is awesome, I wouldn't go anywhere else at the moment. When I was getting my left arm done he said that Richard tried to get him to work in Aberdeen to no avail. Nice tattoo Scott! Gonna go see him towards the end of the year about a back piece.
