Well that's just bollocks.

I agree with Matt, could see the one at the beach being sold.  Would fear for The Belmont if it was put up for sale.

Bollocks really?

Today they are showing:

Kick Ass 2 (Been shown in Cineworld)

Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa (Been shown in Cineworld)

The Worlds End (Been shown in Cineworld)

Only God Forgives (Been shown in Cineworld)

Red 2 (Been shown in Cineworld)

Blancanieves (Only open to Mothers and Babies)

Is that enough proof for you?

It's proof you're talking bollocks.

Only God Forgives and Blancanieves isn't on at either Cineworld this week.

Also at The Belmont in the next week:

Before Sunrise & Before Sunset Double Bill [15]

Glyndebourne: Billy Budd (Captured Live 2010)

Olly the Little White Van: Programme 1

None of which are showing at either Cineworld.

They've always shown a mix of mainstream films and indie so there's going to be some crossover, but you can't say that they just show the same films as Cineworld as it's not true.

Why can't one of the Cineworlds start showing more Indie films? Both are miles better for parking, screen/projector quality, sound quality etc. They both have several smaller screens that could accomodate the more niche films. I think the Belmont is just behind the times in many aspects.

Cineworld did show that but because no-one went stopped showing it and moved it over to The Belmont it is the same print. Why are you getting so offended are you Dallas King or do you work for them?

The one at the beach has some sort of obsession with Bollywood movies.

They are showing Predator at the Belmont on Thursday 29th of this month, oooyay

Cineworld are going to be doing a rerun of  "The Great Gatsby", "Iron Man 3", "Behind The Candelabra", "Man of Steel", "Les Miserables" and "Star Trek Into Darkness".

Cineworld decide what Picturehouse show. Cineworld will decide if a Cineworld closes or The Belmont goes.

I'm not offended but you're supposed to be providing factual information. What kind of infobot are you if you let your weird anti-belmont prejudices get in the way of your local factgasms?

An upcoming screening that a lot of members of staff are very excited about is an original 35mm print of PREDATOR on Thursday 29th August at 9.00pm.

That's right, you can see this epic shot on the big screen!

Oh really how am I prejudice I love going to The Belmont to watch things like old movies and new movies it's just better. All I want is the beach cinema sold to Empire cinemas and converted to Empire Cinema. Can't you see that.

I am the most pro-belmont person on this forum. Also Only God Forgives showed at Cineworld and when it stopped being shown there it moved to The Belmont.
