Mr Owl PhD
So at least four of the top six Premier League teams will have new managers next season. Could be interesting.
Captain America
Pellegrini going in? Is he the answer, no trophies since the toto cup in 04? Granted he's been in Spain but still that's the medias thing. Look at Wenger. Is he really better than Mancini? Who looks like he'll walk into the Monoco/PSG job. I reckon the league is going to Chelsea next year. Old Jose.
Adam Easy Wishes
Don't be silly, next year is Liverpool's year.
Paranoid Android
I'd expect Pellegrini to do much better than Mancini has this season.
Captain America
Ian Holloway. Want him back in the EPL so much! https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10152812485555161
ca_gere
This is pretty cool... 360 pic at Old Trafford. http://chevrolet-manutd-360fanpic7.tag.huggity.com/manutd_07_trophy/app/index.php It'd be interesting to see the geographic spread of attendees once more people are tagged. It'd prove the Man Utd being a Londoners club thing.
Soda Jerk
It will be very representative of the fanbase. Especially those who have tagged themselves as Hernandez's huge mouth, or as the Premier League trophy itself. I have a feeling that might not really be them though. ca_gere
So that's that then. No final day drama in the prem. Martinez will surely move on. Everton seems like a good fit.
Soda Jerk
The only drama is going to be the race for Wenger's favourite trophy. 4th place. That's a shame.
ca_gere
Martinez would be a good shout for the Man City job. He's no doubt been completely ruled out by the real-life champ man players at the top of the chain at Man City because he hasn't managed Inter/AC/Barca/Real/Bayern/etc but he has a lot going for him (beyond his matchday tactics, which are good IMO). For one his command of English is enough for proper communication/relationships with the English players. 2, he speaks Spanish, making him perfect for the south americans and er, spanish players (they give zero fucks about learning English so that would make a huge difference). 3, he's a proper football guy - From what he's done with Wigan, it's clear he's not out to create his own 'brand' or raise his profile (ala Mancini, Mourinho). I genuinely don't think Mancini gave a fuck about the history/prestige of the club, all he cared about was boosting his credentials as a manager. Paranoid Android
I speak English and Spanish and care about Football. Give me the job!! I like Martinez but I don't think he justifies his good reputation at all. He might do okay at Everton if he goes there but I don't think he'd keep them in the top 6. Captain America
Well that's Remy's move to a bigger club off. http://www.itv.com/news/story/2013-05-15/loic-remy-rape-claim-arrest/ That's not your standard horrible celeb rape story either, it's an even scarier ruffie gang-rape story. Awful.
ca_gere
Torres becomes the first player to win the Champs league, the Europa League, The World Cup and the European Championship. Interesting.

Soda Jerk
I really wanted Benfica to win, purely so Chelsea would become the first team in history to lose 8 competitions in one season. A record nobody would have ever matched again. But no. They just had to go and win a cup, didn't they?
ca_gere
I'm pleased for Rafa. I think he's dealt with a difficult experience this season with a lot of dignity and in football terms has done really well. CSB

Soda Jerk
I can't say I share that feeling. I think I only really like Mata out of that current crop. David Luiz is a shitbag. I was pretty pleased to see Aguero go full-blown-assault on him. He's an unrelenting face-elbowing machine. Even after getting his arse caved in by Aguero's studs, he still hasn't learned. He was elbowing everyone last night. The referee looked like he was playing the entire game with his arms in the playing-advantage shape as Luiz just barged everyone over. Ramires loves a foul too, and he is somehow immune to a yellow card. Lampard's alright too actually. Or Lampsy, as he likes to be called. Soda Jerk
Speaking of which. Big Lampsy himself has signed an extension on his contract. 1 year. They should be giving him 3 or 4. No matter how old he gets, he's always going to be the best around at twatting it from 30 yards.

Gypsum_Fantastic
Beckham is retiring at the end of the season. Soda Jerk
Only from football though. Only from football. He's not retiring from being the best guy ever at least. He'll be the best guy ever for many years yet. If not for all time. Ryan Giggs outlives the entirety of the Class of 92, despite being an academy graduate 2 years earlier. What a freak. It's all that yoga and infidelity.
Soda Jerk
Luiz is brilliant, top guy. He's really good at fouling. If that's brilliant, then all hail Lord Kevin Davies, ruler of all.
