Chris
The park in Banchory has metal stands for disposable BBQs. But it's the Banchory Show this weekend so you probably can't get near them even if you could be bothered getting out there. Would be away from the haar though... Moon Moon
any good gigs next weekend in Aberdeen? It's my birthday and wouldn't mind seeing a decent local band, saw uniform last year.
Adam Easy Wishes
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. We ended up going down beside the river in Dyce. Avoided the haar and I can confirm we were socially responsible and did not burn the grass. Banchory's a great shout, Chris, will probably head out there next time we choose to do the same. Lemonade
I hope you disposed of it responsibly. A good few years ago I was out walking at New Aberdour beach and when I came back to my car some toodle had put a barbecue in a plastic wheelie bin in the picnic area which was now belching out flames inches from my car. People were running up and down to the sea with children's buckets filling them with water, if they hadn't done my car would have been seriously damaged. The fire brigade came and everything. I was so annoyed I went full pensioner and wrote a letter to the Evening Express.

Moon Moon
would anyone like to volunteer working with elderly people? We are very short staffed on weekends. If you are interested mail me and I will give you the appropriate paperwork in which you will need 2 references and will be PVG checked. The Milner
A follow on from my porridge pet hate. Can you re-heat porridge? Every one of those little tubs you can buy are either sweetened or made with milk, neither of which i like, but i want to have porridge at work if possible, can i make it in the morning and re-heat the stuff or is that a no no? Skubbs
You can soak the oats overnight, and heat it up that morning - it's pretty stodgy if you reheat it.
neepheid
Just mind and check the drawer is empty, or you'll end up like Paw Broon and breaking yer teeth on a toy car. 4

If i soak them, can i then just heat it up in the micro?
