Stroopy121
I've just made an offer on a JamMan pedal... YOU PEOPLE ARE RUINING MY FINANCIAL WELL-BEING! xx
Adam Easy Wishes
I guess this is as good a thread for this as any - I'm looking to upgrade my shitty old 'gig box' where I keep all my leads/strings/tools etc, and possibly look at a new/robust (and small) pedalboard for my two tuners, fuzz pedal (Big Muff so not the same size as my Boss tuners), bass EQ and power pack thing. Any suggestions/recommendations? Ideally the 'gig box' should also have some kind of divider/pocket device in the lid.

Soda Jerk
I'm after a reverb pedal. My amp has a surprisingly good digital reverb built in, which is good for light reverb, but I want also want something that can add huge, soaking wet spacey reverb, and that can also push the dry signal into the background a little bit. Can any of your gearheads recommend something that does the above? I was looking at the EHX Cathedral, but it does a lot of stuff that I probably won't use (pre-delay, reverse reverb etc) so perhaps there is something more simpler and compact? It's the staple of post-rock bands the world over for a reason.

We use one. TC Mini Hall of Fame might work if you only want one sound at a time? If you've got the funds a Neunaber Wet or Strymon Blue Sky pack a big punch. Eventide Space and Strymon Big Sky probably have too many options.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
TC Electronics Hall of Fame is great, and the tone print feature is surprisingly non-shit and usable.
Bigsby
Wasn't impressed by the HOF but I only use a spring reverb sound.
Steviepearce
I love the hall of fame. Can tweak for weeks, lots of nice features and choices.

I was blown away when the guy just picked up his phone and tapped it on his strings and got a completely different reverb setting.Unbelievable! neepheid
I'm going to be G&L-less for a while, but when I come out the other side, I'd like to get a Tribute M-2000 GTS. Ooft, dat binding.
Soda Jerk
TC Mini Hall of Fame might work if you only want one sound at a time? Just had a look into this one, it looks like a winner. The "tone print" thing sounds pretty wild.
Bigsby
Loading Tone Prints via your phone is amazing, but only if you can find a sound you like. I couldn't sadly.
Soda Jerk
Yeah, I dunno if I'd get much joy from the signature pre-sets, but it looks like I'd be able to dial in what I'm looking for with the desktop app. Think I'll pick one up. Realistically, I only use a couple of tones on my Trinity reverb, and that's the spring setting and the Sigur Ros toneprint.
Steviepearce
The software that comes with the hof is great. I started to build a bit of tc stuff into my rig as there are endless possibilities to the sounds you can create. Yet during a set I can use the spring, hall and room settings with very little tweaking depending on song.
brettthain1
The polytune 2 looks great! Does anyone own one? The hof is on my list of things to get later on.

It's a tuner pedal same as most the others. I don't use the strum feature as you can only then one tuning peg a time anyway.
brettthain1
I picked up a Custom Audio Electronics boost/line driver for my solo's and it's flat, beautifully flat! A really nice clean boost with minimal coloration!
James Broonbreed
Personally, I've never understood clean boosts.
brettthain1
Personally, I've never understood clean boosts.Really!? What type of boost are you using? I though a clean boost would be ideal for just raising the volume for solos.

I though a clean boost would be ideal for just raising the volume for solos.Wouldn't an eq or an overdrive with the gain right down low (a la the TS9 being used by most rock/metal producers in a recording situation)?
