Flights
This song was the moment that a 15 year-old Murrr knew that Nu Metal was no longer for him.I always remember it from the legends of wrestling game on playstation. Awful game. Awful soundtrack.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I have been on a bit of a Mazzy Star splurge recently. All three of their albums are fantastic, and I even went online to find bootlegs and such.

Stroopy121
Not a bad song on this record IMHO. Used to be my goto ANGST record, but I always hated the more down-tempo, non-metal, gothy shit but now that I'm a grownup I appreciate the record as a whole more. Some of the gearshifts from creepy, ambient mumbling into RAGE are fucking excellent. Love this record. Can't wait to see him and Rob Zombie tear shit up!xx
Flights
When I bought a second hand Fiat Punto a few of years ago it had Holywood in the CD player. Just about leaped out of my skin when I turned the key and the fight song blasted out at full volume.Me and my girlfriend watched Dig! a couple of nights ago and now we are both listening to nothing but the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Especially these two.

colb
This came up in a last.fm playlist today. Saw them supporting Belly a LOT of years ago. Singer is the dude from Buffalo Tom's brother I think:
Woodsinho
Beck - Odelay. I haven't listened to Beck for a long, long time but I saw his name mentioned somewhere and decided to ditch the stupid tech death metal binge I was on in favour of Odelay. A Good Decision.

Flights
I unearthed this from my big box of cd's the other day and I've been listening to it pretty much non stop. It's a compilation of various Asian shoegaze bands. It's pretty fucking good. There is some awesome bands on there that I had totally forgotten about. The song by Caucus on this album is probably my favourite but it's a tough choice to make. Video might not work or be shite as I'm at work and can't access youtube
Lemonade
Not so much a re-discovery as discovering something that I really should have done years ago. But I downloaded Elvis Costello's first three albums last night. Fuck me they're good.
Soda Jerk
You should download the one after the first 3, Get Happy. That's probably my favourite. Pop as fuck.

Jaaakkkeee
I found out that a newish Listener song, is actually a redo of one of his older rap ones. Listener got rid of all the rap and put it on the dancemyth, where I rediscovered this beauty. Perfect timing too.http://thedancemyth.bandcamp.com/album/just-in-time-for-christmas
Old Gold
I may well do that. Today I'm pretty much just listening to "Radio Radio" on repeat.Blood and Chocolate is also a peach of an album, although I don't think anything quite beats This Year's Model. Nick Lowe is a dynamite producer.
