I was drinking my coffee and he walked past my table and i thought 'that's the bassist from Hot Mangu. Do we know each other? Possibly on nodding terms, but if i nod he might not know who i am and he'll think i'm weird. Best not bother'. That's exactly how my train of thought went. Lemonade
I also disagree, Lonestar is my first choice of drink in the Moorings. If they don't have that I'm on the Moosehead.
Johnny Mac
I disagree.Haha, agree to disagree. I find American beer in general a bit shite. Just my opinion mind you.Tasted like pishwater after the deluge of Aussie beers beforehand.EDIT: Lucky... Moosehead is awesome, they had none left last night though. Bigsby
Maybe you have to drink it in Texas, although I remember enjoying it in a dive of a bar called The Patriot Saloon in NYC as well.Seems like a good excuse to post a musical Lone Star beer reference.YouTube - Kinky Friedman - They Ain't Makin Jews Like Jesus Anymore
Flash@TMB
Haha, agree to disagree. I find American beer in general a bit shite. Just my opinion mind you.Tasted like pishwater after the deluge of Aussie beers beforehand.EDIT: Lucky... Moosehead is awesome, they had none left last night though. The mainstream big buisness Yank brews are not great, but the US actually has a huge number of amazingly good micro breweries, so don't write them off.If you haven't already tried it then I recommend the Brooklyn Lager that we sell, it's the polar opposite of your usual bland watery Budweiser type fizz. Loads of flavour and a much darker colour.

Lemonade
I do enjoy a bottle of Brooklyn As do I. It's almost like a pale ale rather than a lager, very flavoursome.
