What an absolutely ecstatic feeling to hear beautifully crisp noise coming from an electric guitar again. I actually feel like I have a part of my life back again. It said "transaction failed", so I called up to pay it that way instead. It went through and I went to look at another of my accounts online and noticed that the initial "failed" transaction had gone through too. Needed the money back in my current account to pay for other things, so called up and got the usual call centre run-around. Nobody seemed to be able to help me with my query there and then, as it seemed to be a widespread technical issue and someone ended up transferring me through to another department. Waited 20 minutes to talk to some guy who initially said he couldn't help me as their office was just closing and to call back tomorrow. Expressed my slight disappointment after having waited 20 minutes to talk to him after someone had transferred me and he ended up not only sorting out my query and transferring the money back over to my current account, but also reimbursed me for the phonecall and credited me with another £10, just for the inconvenience.
