  1. Inanimate objects. The ultimate oxymoron. There is no such thing. Everything that exists is out to get you and infuriate you. Especially cables.
  2. I was getting awfy confused about the venue for this one. Anyone know if it'll be possible to see both Psydoll and Ed Harcourt on the night?
  3. If anyone can tell me what year The Skids played The Music Hall (late 70s) I can work out how old I was as that was my first real gig.
  4. Ah the conga evening in Dr Drakes! Now that was bloody fun.
  5. Too Young by Phoenix
  6. Too many to mention. Well except for one. Dance Dance Baby by Beangrowers. This album is just bloody marvellous. Woohoo my first Maltese band!
  7. Got a good mention on Drowned in Sound too.
  8. Pull Shapes is terribly infectious. I am going to do my best to be there.
  9. There is some brilliant Devo stuff on youtube and the very early, John Foxx era, Ultravox footage almost made me weep with nostalgia.
  10. I listened to it without video and I thought it was a Crass song.

  16. What can I say? Ukulele's rock hard. Not used here but you should see the Gibson SG electric ukulele one of them has.
  17. London gigs generally finish very early so you need not have to stay that close to where the gig is as you can still get the tube or a bus. There are three Travelodges within 5 mins of Kings Cross that we use regularly. We pay in the region of £10-£26 per room per night. You may be too late for these prices though.
