Saw them twice in London earlier in the year and they were fantastic. The first time Sune wasn't allowed to sing, so Sharin did all the vocals. Bloody marvellous. Sharin is a rock chick. Discuss.

No idea why I bought Badly Drawn Boy's first album but it's so shite I've never played it all the way through and can't even tell you the name of it. But it's really shite. Before that, the only album I've ever given away was That's Life by Sham 69. Hurry Up Harry was great but let's be honest, as oxymoron's go, Sham 69 and 'concept album' takes the buscuit. It even came with a poster of the band with the word "FANX" written on it.

If it were up to me, I'd bin the lot and induct Wire. So influential it's really quite scary.

I third Nullmouse. Thomas Truax AND Chris TT was brilliant enough. But well chuffed to see UK Anti-Folk stallwarts Sgt Buzzfuzz coming up too. NEAF anyone?

Mrs mmd040 has just had an email from Thomas to say that he hopes to be back in Aberdeen later in the year, maybe October-December time. Do the Interesting guys know anymore about this? Mrs mmd040 also has some pictures of him from Truck 7 if anyone is interested. PS. If he does come back to Aberdeen, Mrs mmd040 would like to feed him as she thought he was looking awfy peelywally when we last saw him.

Schwervon's website now lists the 6th of Sep as "to be confirmed". For anyone who doesn't know, it did say Glasgow but a swap to Aberdeen (Dr Drakes) is on the cards. Anyone else keeping all digits crossed?

Saw them in London at Track and Field POW alldayer and wasn't too impressed. But then considering the rest of the lineup they were up against it. Didn't give them a second chance at Truck but would go see them if they played Aberdeen.

Saw him supporting The Raveonettes in London in February. Bit of a laught to start with but I got bored after 2/3 songs.

I was at Truck too and personally think that Dedalus are way better than Redjetson so get there on time. Too much like Explosions in the Sky but without that certain something. Can't remember where I was for YMSS but it might have been the real ale bar. Nullmouse?
