Soda Jerk
Something about their training has to be leaving them in a condition more susceptible to injuries than normal. Phil Jones. He kicked that massive chunk out of Wayne Rooney's head. He also gave Ashley Young and Rafael a clattering in the same training session last season, which had them both out for a while. It's probably Phil Jones. Even when Daley Blind got landed on awkwardly whilst playing for Holland against Latvia, it was Phil Jones. Falcao's ACL? Phil Jones. That's like a standard season at Arsenal. And that's just Diaby. Phil Jones.
Delboy1969
Looking forward to the 'Auld Enemy' meeting tonight, always a tasty game and I think Scotland might sneak it.

ca_gere
Nice one scotland... giving england the opportunity to 'kick on' with the rest of the qualifiers.
waltz
It hurts to lose, but to lose and have Wayne Rooney play well is doubly awful.
Lemonade
The gulf in class was evident, we were outplayed all over the park. Hopefully the fact that it was just a friendly doesn't dent the confidence, I genuinely think this squad of players could do something special, although it's missing a commanding centre back. Paranoid Android
England were obviously up for it and could play without nerves since it was a friendly. When that happens it's always going to be tough for the underdog to win. However from the little I saw I'd say we definitely could have played better and made too many sloppy mistakes. It's been a good year for us though and hopefully we can start next year with two qualifying wins.
Delboy1969
At the end of the day the three points against ROI were of much more importance than bragging rights against the auld enemy. That was a tidy performance from England and they were worthy winners.
Soda Jerk
Shaw and Di Maria got injured last night. Now that's 14 first team United injuries currently. Possible United line up to face Arsenal on Saturday: Lindegaard, Valencia Smalling McNair James, Fellaini Fletcher Anderson, Rooney RVP Mata. lol. Soda Jerk
Was it not Nani that injured Di Maria, too? Ouch. Yes.https://vine.co/v/OJ7ri1mVJ1E It looks completely un-accidental, as if he has stolen his place in the side or something.
Paranoid Android
Can't believe Malky McKay has already got another job. Not a surprise it would be Whelan to give him it though. 5 quid on Ched Evans to sign for Wigan next week!
The Milner
Why? He has apologied and gone through some courses to help rehabilitate him, surely he is ok to find another job in football?
Soda Jerk
Malk's a total idiot, but he's still a decent manager. If all wrong-doing idiots were expelled from the game forever, there would be no game.

Soda Jerk
It's not 6 months. Seems to have been caused by LvG's broken English and journalists just hearing "6 months" and punching it into Tweets as fast as they could. He said he needs 10 days in a brace and then he gets another scan "But won't be 6 months or so".
