ca_gere
That coffee grounds down the bog tip is actually really good. Makes for a potent mix if you don't flush in between visits but saves the kitchen plug hole nicely.
Old Gold
Used grounds also make really good fertiliser for tomatoes if that's your thing.
Soda Jerk
I tip used grounds into the Council-issued food waste bin I now have in the kitchen, where the grounds, along with those damn vegetables I don't eat, will be swept away and be turned into compost. Teabags
I only really drink coffee at work. We have this thing...It's no bad.
MarkDrummer
I'm a coffee wanker. Got a Nespresso machine from my girlfriend for my birthday. I don't like the full fat milk, it's too creamy so drink 'skinny' coffee, making me possibly the biggest coffee wanker on here.
Soda Jerk
Has to be fatty milk for me. Skimmed milk does nothing. It's just like adding more water. Shame you don't get Half and Half over here, like they get in 'Murica. Half cream! Sounds great.
neepheid
Semi-skimmed for the win. Even 1% will do. As long as there's some fat. Skimmed milk is white water. But I don't care for full fat milk, that's too far in the other direction for me.

Lemonade
Skimmed milk is hideous. I'll drink tea and coffee black before I'll put skimmed in it. Total garbage.Makes terrible lattes too.
Adam Easy Wishes
The best coffee is black anyway.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
The best coffee is black anyway.Exactly. Surely a true coffee wanker only takes it black.
neepheid
Exactly. Surely a true coffee wanker only takes it black. Surely the true coffee wanker drinks espresso and looks down his or her nose at any further dilution with any substance. Unless it's brandy. Which makes a Carajillo, coffee wankers.
Paranoid Android
I enjoy a carajillo now and again. I often like it with rum rather than brandy though.
The Milner
I quite enjoy the dark Douwe and Egberts at the moment. I did enjoy that Millicano stuff as well. Not geeky enough to own a coffee machine yet tho.
Lemonade
Enjoying a mug of Tesco French Coffee at the moment, their own range of coffee is cheap as bits and the quality of them varies but I really like this one. I always have a bag around as a backup. Good tasty strong coffee. http://m.tesco.ie/mt/www.tesco.ie/groceries/Product/Details/?id=253079980

ca_gere
Gotten into Cuban style coffee recently. A place nearby my flat opened. Their version of a cafe con leche is fucking amazing. Espresso shotfrothed milkA small knob of salted butterSugar Butter in coffee sounds mingning and unnecessary but it's so great. Not an every day drink by any means (unless you want to be a bloater) but a nice wee treat every now and again.
Old Gold
I might give the salty butter coffee thing a go. Decadent.
Stroopy121
I'm in Norway with work just now and the coffee is fucking shit. There's not even a fucking Espresso option on the machines here, so I have to take the stuff with water in it like some kind of fucking animal, or an American. xx

Murrr
I was drinking coffee with unbutter and MCT oil (upgraded coconut oil, basically) every day when I got serious about losing weight. It doesn't taste nice at all, but the benefits are incredible: http://peak-fast.com/modified-bulletproof-coffee/ Drinking this in the morning, you feel like Thor. The MCT oil goes straight to your brain, so turbo-charging your cognitive functions straight away, while the high fat contact ensures that your body is supplied to the caffeine on a drip. This keeps you energized for hours. Because the caffeine isn't dumped on you in one big go you don't get a nasty, edgy coffee high or a terrible crash afterwards. It's just a slow, steady feed. I'd not recommend it as a tasty beverage, because it bloody isn't, but it's an incredible weight-loss tool and a huge energy boost in the morning. Adam Easy Wishes
Talk to me about this a bit more...kicks in your metabolism, etc. But butter in coffee? Can I just have black coffee and dump some coconut oil in there? Did you stick to that recipe? I am intrigued.
Old Gold
Out of curiosity I just chased a little slice of lurpack with a mouthful of coffee and it tasted pretty amazing.
