Monster Zero
Presidents of the United States of America - Self titled.Love this CD, hadn't heard it for an age. Going to go dig out all their other albums now.I just bought this 2nd hand recently, ace album. My 4 year old son became obsessed by 'Lump' and 'Peaches' and insisted they were played in the house for ages. I also concur that FLC's first album is the biz, had a blast in the car recently, still great. 2nd one was OK too but then they went way downhill. Good live band at that time as well, saw them a few times.I've just been blitzing all the Dead Kenndys albums. Still my favourite American punk band, far superior to Black Flag IMO who seem to be the more revered.
Alphas
The Lemonheads. One of the first bands I properly got int and gave a few of their albums a play the other day. Crackin' stuff.
Jaaakkkeee
Been listening to the MMW album on repeat a lot lately after not listening to it since I bought it. I like it a lot more now for some reason.

free tibet
Seriously...'Open Your Heart' and 'Cherish' are absolute TUNES.I'm with you there, used to be a huge fan of her work. Got almost everything up to Erotica, still give the LP's a spin now and again

Old Gold
Fucking hell, I had an inspirational spotify search moment and brought up The Besnard Lakes. What a great sound. It's like if Brian Wilson split his time between Sweden and Iceland or something.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Fucking hell, I had an inspirational spotify search moment and brought up The Besnard Lakes. What a great sound. It's like if Brian Wilson split his time between Sweden and Iceland or something.Their last record is properly fantastic. A great mix of pop and dreamy/noisy guitars. Yum! Monster Zero
Pigeonhed. Band on Sub Pop with a singer who sounds like Prince. They did the original of 'Battleflag' that Lo-Fidelity Allstars sampled. I kind of like the LFA version better truth be told...

3CR816
The Dresden Dolls.Amanda Palmer quickly became an annoying 'alt'-celebrity, but the self-titled album is really good!
Pierre Von Mondragon
Pigeonhed. Band on Sub Pop with a singer who sounds like Prince. They did the original of 'Battleflag' that Lo-Fidelity Allstars sampled. I kind of like the LFA version better truth be told..."Get down awn yo muthafukin kneeez..."Yeah, that version was ace, some of their album has stood up well, Kool Roc Bass particularly, it is a micro-genre template all of its own. Old Gold
I really like the forgetters record. Really nicely stripped down. Great vocals especially.I'd find it hard to choose between Jawbreaker and JTB... terribly good bands.
