Old Gold
Are they actually just hooking each other in the face? Music fans.
ca_gere
I haven't been to a mosh-pit type of gig in a long time. Is punching each other square in the face common practice nowadays?
Soda Jerk
Seemingly so, but hopefully it's restricted to that type of knobhead hardcore shite.
ca_gere
is that Hollistercore?

Jaaakkkeee
Nothing better than a bit of crowd killing.
MikeyEB
They are just fighting to get out of the gig, like a Tuesday night at Drummonds.
Jaaakkkeee
I actually really liked that song. And everyone knows what youre getting in to going to that kind of gig. But of course you do get the odd arsehole, like in that video. Up against the crowd swinging out and the guy who swings a fist as he stage dives. That's out of order. But if you're moshing and get a boot to the teeth you can't really complain.
neepheid
I don't know if it's the worst thing I've heard/seen ever, but it's certainly the worst thing I've heard/seen today.
Old Gold
That's bollocks Jake. It sucks that kids can't get near the stage at these gigs because some spotty youths are trying to windmill across the room like a bunch of real tough guys. MikeyEB
If people are saying it's ok to kick people in the face at gigs, they haven't seen how beautiful I am.
Soda Jerk
I actually really liked that song. And everyone knows what youre getting in to going to that kind of gig. But of course you do get the odd arsehole, like in that video. Up against the crowd swinging out and the guy who swings a fist as he stage dives. That's out of order. But if you're moshing and get a boot to the teeth you can't really complain. The song was fairly standard. I don't think it was terrible, but that style of hardcore doesn't appeal to me at all. I did quite like the guitar tone and the chugs, but little else. It was mostly about the video, which is awful. 'Moshing' seems to have gone to a bit of an extreme though. I'm all for a bit of a shove about, but actual punches and kicks is just daft. Some of those goobers are just punching and kicking thin air, but there's a few guys there who are climbing on folk and punching them in the head. Fuck that noise. Adam Easy Wishes
^ Rep for 'goobers'.
Soda Jerk
It's a great word. I'm bringing it back.
Jaaakkkeee
Loving the word Goober. Strong choice. I'm a big fan of the TGH, and the sort of gigs it takes with it. It's all about pile-ons. I wouldn't climb someone and punch them, but I spaced jam-ed some kid at a Your Demise gig. Shouldn't wear a backpack to a gig, or I'll go Michael Jordan on your ass, one foot on his bag, jumped over and on to the stage.
keeno
Another Falling in Reverse monstrosity. They just can't stop making them. For some utterly bizarre reason the founder of Sumerian Records decided to do a Florence and the Machine cover album. For those unaware they mainly have -core bands on the label. Some are actually moderately tasteful spins on the original, some are just straight covers... and there are ones that are just breakdowns with screaming.http://sumerianceremonials.com/ Edited May 13, 2014 by keeno
Teabags
I find it harder to believe that Falling in Reverse are actually a real thing everytime I see them.

ca_gere
I suppose with those facial tattoos his career prospects are somewhat limited but he still should have put 'rapper' a bit further down the list.
James Broonbreed
I hope "what ya gonna do with it" is a rhetorical question. To be fair, he does look really cool throughout the video.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I have this song stuck in my head now. He rhymes "extendos" with "Nintendo", which is pretty amazing, and says sorry for selling blow to my hoes, which is thoughtful.
