They probably should have thrown their weight around, hiked up the price and kicked you out of the shop. Oxfam pretty much rescued it for you. I'm SO chuffed ...(I might make up some sort of memorial picture and mount his medals as a keepsake)(my Dad is extreme front left) ....(THATS where I got my good looks )Groundcrew, 613 Squadron RAF, waiting in Swanton Morley, Norfolk, to be shipped to frontline airbase in France post D-Day 1944.....Dad worked as Aero-engine mechanic, servicing Rolls Royce Merlins in DeHavilland Mosquito fighter bombers..... cool !! 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
