If you havent had the misfortune to see them, they feature people doing a song in a variety of different musical styles before being interrupted by some amusing interference after which they pop back up and finish the jingle. They have managed the feat of making every single variation of the theme annoying and there are at least 5 or 6.

Particular hatred reserved for the dolly bird in pink who has a particularly irritating nasal twang to her voice and looks like she will be doing particularly degrading porn soon. As will Kelly Brook if luck will out, she is getting on my tits as well the now.

Well, I'm glad that three of us agree. I am no fan of internet hardmen getting into pointless arguments and bullying other forum member behind the safety of their monitor. I'm probably better off spending my time on Blamo, rabbiting on about the Smashing Pumpkins. I can only ignore list so many people before reading threads becomes baffling.

You guys do know what the "report post" button is there for, right? We mods, awesome as we undoubtedly are, cannot possibly read every single thread on here, so if we don't know the flame wars are happening, we can't step in. I didn't know that thread had been derailed until this afternoon because it was never reported and I didn't read it because I couldn't give a fuck about Blink 182. Anyway it's closed now. If this kind of thing happens again just use the report post button and I'll come crashing in and crush the fuck out of everybody with my super mod-powers. Yeah!

Aye Ryan, that's fair enough, but 99% of the time it's been the tone of threads, or the way they have turned out that has annoyed me, rather than specifics that would warrant the "report post" button. Threads over the past couple of weeks have reminded me what the forum was like in 2004-2005.

I've heard from a fair few people that they read this forum, but are too scared to post in case they are immediately flamed and I've always said that wasn't really the case. However, if I look at the nature of the forum over the past while, I'd be more inclined to agree with them.

Personally I can't say I've noticed more arguing and flaming recently than normal (though I have closed three different threads today) - we do try to keep an eye on things and keep on top of it, but as I say, we can't read everything.
