Scorge probably knows

Of course I do, 'know your enemy' is a useful principle to own:

G****a's only hope of getting promotion is to groundshare with Murderwell, because Raydale Park is a shithole of the highest order with piss poor facilities (two portaloos = the away toilets) and restrictions on the away support (600-ish for us) due to policing concerns. They won't be able to do a Brighton and build 6000 temporary away seats, certainly not in time for next season, anyway.

As Ross said, I reckon St Johnstone will probably nick the division, and I'll be off to Fortress EEP next season (provided you put the away end prices down ;)).

I'm bored so i'm going to compare ICT and Aberdeen's first 11. Bear in mind we spend about a tenth of what you do on wages!! the players in Bold are the better ones in my opinion. Also, i've guessed some of the positions the Dons players play in, as some of the time they seem to be all over the place with Jimmy's Total Football Tactics!!

GK - Langfield v. Brown - No arguements here i think. Langfield's form of late has been totally dreadful aside from the odd good save. Brown is one of the best shotstoppers in the SPL, but can be a bit poor at kicking, much like Langfield!! Irony is that most ICT fans actually prefer Mike Fraser in goals to Brown, as he has more height and better distribution, as well as the great shotstopping.

RB - Hart v. Tokely - Hart was rubbish a few seasons ago, now he is mr consistent. As much as i love the man, i'd love for us to get a right back to challenge Rossco for a spot

CB - Anderson v. Dods v. Touzani v. Munro v. Zander - Anderson obviously. But pair him with a strong center half like Munro, and i thin kthats a great defence. Touzani has showed he could be a great signing, but really needs to stay off the sick bed. Dods can be amazing, but also rubbish. Zander i'm not even going to waste my time commenting

LB - Hastings v. Foster Foster has done well at left back, but too often gets torn apart. See v. Hibs, v. Rangers etc etc. He has great pace, a good engine, decent(ish) cross but canna defend. Hastings has experience galore, strong in the tackle, great crosser, always willing to help past the halfway line. One of our most improved players since joining the SPL

RM - J.Smith v. B.Wilson v. C. McGuire - Smith is a better player than Wilson (needs to stay fit though), and McGuire could have the potential to be great, but will need to get the minutes on the pitch to prove. Wilson does still have another season in him though, and has had some great moments in the SPL for us.

LM - Rankin v. McBain v. C.Clark - It really pains me to say it, but Clark has been performing slightly better than Rankin over the course of the season. He needs to lift his head a bit though, as he'll tend to do a Scott Muirhead and just run straight on into a ruck of players. However, Rankin has been immense the last few games, and got fantastic confidence after those two wonder goals in the last fortnight. If he continues with this form, he'll be a fantastic player for us, and be a much greater influence than Chrissy. McBain is mince, don't know how he gets in our team.

CM - Black v. Seve v. Duncan v. Dempsey - Seve is the best out of this lot, great passer, fantastic shot, strong in the tackle. Black has an equally great pass, strong on both feet, has an incredible leap for headers, but his discipline is shocking. Although recently he has been totally picked on by some refs. Will go onto better things that ICT. Duncan and Dempsey are both horses for courses.

FC - Bayne v. Brewster v. Miller v. Mackie v. Dargo v. Wyness v. Lovell v. Daal - I'd probably say Lovell is the most skillful of the strikers, but can't get the games to prove it due to fitness and form. Brewster canna last 90mins. Dargo has been off form. Daal is pants. Miller had great potential at Hearts, but despite recent performances improving, i still think he's been poor this season, canna score either. Mackie has been brilliant for the Dons and is the most inform striker there. Bayne is one you will scoff at no doubt. But no-other player in the SPL does as much work as he does in a match, seriously. He was incredible against Rangers. I can honestly say he will really trouble Anderson on sat (unless Ando is offski), and is easily the most improved SPL player this season. He'd be great linkup player for Mackie. Wyness is only just starting to show his skills.

Any complaints

I would mostly agree with you although I haven't seen enough of Caley this season.

Elements of doubt: Haven't seen enough of Touzani or Daal to judge. I actually thought they both looked quite handy but if we're going on current form then you're right.

I'm not a fan of Clark, flatters to decieve, would actually rather have Rankin in our squad (judging on 2 games I've seen him play).

L Miller has been playing ok but needs to start scoring. I will get back to you on Bayne after the game.......

No problem, we only hike them up to shaft the Mould Firm, we need the extra money to cover the fumigation costs post-match............

Caley are scoring goals for fun against Stirling. Good signs for the game against the dons next sat

I really hope the Aberdeen players don't tire themselves out too much on Wednesday. I especially hope they don't pick up any injuries that rule them out for a week or so

As Maxi would say: Yas min!

Safely in the hat for round four. Could we get Deveronvale at home, please?

We'll take anyone!! apart from Celtic, Partick Thistle, Falkirk, Hearts, Hibs or Aberdeen, Gretna....

So yeah, Deveronvale for us too. Their pitch looked terrible on tv, so we'll have it at home please

Finally... Something for Jake to smile about! :D

Up those hun bastards!

Dunfermline 3-2 Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrangers

You fucking beauty! Never any doubt in my mind. I knew we'd do it. David Murray, Barry Ferguson, Ally McCoist, Donald Findlay, lotto lout Mikey Carroll, fucking get it RIGHT up ye! Your boys took one hell of a beating!

Home to Hearts next round. A tough one, but at least we avoided the tattie-munchers. Bring it on, I feel great. No "concentrating on the league" just yet, then. It's days like this that remind me why I'm a Par.

Oh to, oh to be, oh to be a........................FIFER!

not to put a downer on it as, and i think i speak for every dons fan here, it was beautiful to see the huns get beat, but they were unlucky not to get something out of the game in the second hand. If square ball barry managed to hit the net from 5 yards instead of the woodwork it would have been different, but then he is used to kicking the ball back the way and side ways not forward so i guess he has an excuse :D

Good on the pars tho hopefuly a kick start for thier season.

That makes it even better, how many times have we all been unlucky against/shafted/downright fucking robbed by the Huns and Tims? It's high time for a reversal, you've made me even more chuffed now.

Not seen the match but good job on Dunfermline.

Anyway Aberdeen HAD to get Gretna in the draw...

Motherwell v Morton

Dunfermline v Hearts

Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Dundee United or St Mirren

Falkirk v St Johnstone or Ayr United

Deveronvale v Partick Thistle

Dundee or Queen of the South v Cowdenbeath or Brechin City

Aberdeen or Hibernian v Gretna

Livingston v Celtic

It is a lot better than Celtic, which was looking very likely at that stage of the draw. And remember, we got to beat Hibs first.

are, i've been playing it for a while now and had an interest ever since i was little and the guys are all getting into it in a big way too. looks like a few of them will be taking it up this summer as well. it's perfect sunday evening viewing because games go on forever so it's like being in a dream. sometimes a really violent dream, but a dream nonetheless! this weekends action was top class. the playoffs are a hoot!

cricket is something that a lot of my family are into and an exciting game or series can be as enthralling as any sport but in general, it's not something i watch a lot of.
