delboy
the referee at the abbey stadium on the 30th was the biggest twat i have even seen in charge of a football match, obviously there is something in the rules of the game at conference level where cambridge united will not be a given a stonewall penalty whilst burton albion will be given a 50/50 penatly decision in the 93rd min with the score 1-1 in extremely treachorous conditions where the referee was at the half way line and his linesmen were also woefully far from the action. and yes it is sour grapes but we really were robbed of the points by an awful refeering decision. Adam Easy Wishes
I can't see Ferguson playing for any other Scottish club, and he's already proved that he can't hack the Premiership.I wouldn't bet against Paul Le Guen going before Ferguson does... Sam 45
I'll take a draw at Hibs, SSN said we had a few selection problems due to the flu, so not a bad result. Rangers beat Motherwell so its all level again.
Chris
sounds like Brewster did well when he came on. Shame we've let Hearts catch up now though, still as long as we're in the mix at the end of the season I'll be happy.
RossP
Arabs get humped, ICT win against the Buddies, Barry Ferguson dumped by Rangers.... Could this be the best start to the year ever?!!Now if someone can make sure Nacho Novo gets a bout of herpes...A week on Sat: Aberdeen v. ICT, canna wait!!! Skacel
a draw at easter road is acceptable i reckon, not an easy place to go it is getting quite crowded up the top tho for the 2nd place. i still think 3rd would be a decent achievment. Spoonie
having the pace of mackie, alongside someone who can make himself space and distribute the ball well, should be an effective combination. /x

RossP
and then ICT will get pumped to even things out I wouldn't be too confident about that. Especially with how ©langflield has been giving more gifts than Santa this season.

I was a big fan of David Preece, would still like to have him in goal.
RossP
I'm bored so i'm going to compare ICT and Aberdeen's first 11. Bear in mind we spend about a tenth of what you do on wages!! the players in Bold are the better ones in my opinion. Also, i've guessed some of the positions the Dons players play in, as some of the time they seem to be all over the place with Jimmy's Total Football Tactics!!GK - Langfield v. Brown - No arguements here i think. Langfield's form of late has been totally dreadful aside from the odd good save. Brown is one of the best shotstoppers in the SPL, but can be a bit poor at kicking, much like Langfield!! Irony is that most ICT fans actually prefer Mike Fraser in goals to Brown, as he has more height and better distribution, as well as the great shotstopping.RB - Hart v. Tokely - Hart was rubbish a few seasons ago, now he is mr consistent. As much as i love the man, i'd love for us to get a right back to challenge Rossco for a spotCB - Anderson v. Dods v. Touzani v. Munro v. Zander - Anderson obviously. But pair him with a strong center half like Munro, and i thin kthats a great defence. Touzani has showed he could be a great signing, but really needs to stay off the sick bed. Dods can be amazing, but also rubbish. Zander i'm not even going to waste my time commenting LB - Hastings v. Foster Foster has done well at left back, but too often gets torn apart. See v. Hibs, v. Rangers etc etc. He has great pace, a good engine, decent(ish) cross but canna defend. Hastings has experience galore, strong in the tackle, great crosser, always willing to help past the halfway line. One of our most improved players since joining the SPLRM - J.Smith v. B.Wilson v. C. McGuire - Smith is a better player than Wilson (needs to stay fit though), and McGuire could have the potential to be great, but will need to get the minutes on the pitch to prove. Wilson does still have another season in him though, and has had some great moments in the SPL for us.LM - Rankin v. McBain v. C.Clark - It really pains me to say it, but Clark has been performing slightly better than Rankin over the course of the season. He needs to lift his head a bit though, as he'll tend to do a Scott Muirhead and just run straight on into a ruck of players. However, Rankin has been immense the last few games, and got fantastic confidence after those two wonder goals in the last fortnight. If he continues with this form, he'll be a fantastic player for us, and be a much greater influence than Chrissy. McBain is mince, don't know how he gets in our team.CM - Black v. Seve v. Duncan v. Dempsey - Seve is the best out of this lot, great passer, fantastic shot, strong in the tackle. Black has an equally great pass, strong on both feet, has an incredible leap for headers, but his discipline is shocking. Although recently he has been totally picked on by some refs. Will go onto better things that ICT. Duncan and Dempsey are both horses for courses. FC - Bayne v. Brewster v. Miller v. Mackie v. Dargo v. Wyness v. Lovell v. Daal - I'd probably say Lovell is the most skillful of the strikers, but can't get the games to prove it due to fitness and form. Brewster canna last 90mins. Dargo has been off form. Daal is pants. Miller had great potential at Hearts, but despite recent performances improving, i still think he's been poor this season, canna score either. Mackie has been brilliant for the Dons and is the most inform striker there. Bayne is one you will scoff at no doubt. But no-other player in the SPL does as much work as he does in a match, seriously. He was incredible against Rangers. I can honestly say he will really trouble Anderson on sat (unless Ando is offski), and is easily the most improved SPL player this season. He'd be great linkup player for Mackie. Wyness is only just starting to show his skills.Any complaints

Guest Jake Wifebeater
He's going to have to do something. Drastic. And quickly. This could end up being a rerun of the 91/92 season, we were relegated by February. Still, on the plus side, er.......... I'll get back to you on that, if I can find one. Cause from what i remember, they wouldn't have it built in time to get promotion, and weren't sure if they could get a groundshare in time...? I still have a funny feeling St Johnstone will nick the 1st Division at the last hurdle. At least you have Mark Burchill signed up for another season or two. If Gretna win the firstie, but they can't come up, I'd be deeply ashamed if we stayed up on a poxy technicality. I remember the Sheepies finished bottom a while back, but F****** couldn't come up because their toilet wasn't ready for the S P Hell. That's a morally justifiable exception, however, because it was them. The team who finishes bottom should generally go down, unless it's Satan's Bastard's coming up. That's different.Burchill said he re-signed because he was confident Kenny would keep us up. Must have been at the sherry.........
