Monster Zero
I couldn't get into Red. The production made everything sound a little bit weak. Blue sounds massive.Well I'm sure I will enjoy then...now ordered off Amazon.I have recently got -Mike Patton ~ Crank High Voltage Soundtrack, only discovered he did the music once the credits rolled after watching the other week, it's good, quite an eclectic mixture of styles with some Fantomas like vocal work and FNM rifftastic stuff.alsoArctic Monkeys ~ Humbug, which I have held off getting to obtain cheap and 4 quid in One Up 2nd hand did it. I've been intrigued by the Josh Homme link and so far it's good. They are still dull as hell live though.....

Scootray
Vitalic - Flashmob (this is awesome)Deadmau5 - For Lack of a Better Name (This is also pretty good)Emily Jane White - Dark Undercoat (randomly found her on spotify, very good folky stuff)The Bloody Beetroots - Romborama (Not so into this yet, might be a grower. I do like the track, Cornelius, though)
ca_gere
Vitalic - Flashmob (this is awesome)) Am going to see him this month. Nae got this yet though.I've recently gotten:The Samuel Jackson five - Goobye Melody Mountain (Scandinavian instrumental post-rock band with an ace name. It's generally a bit of an over-indulgent genre but their stuff has a poppy, riff driven feel that sets it apart. It's both epic and catchy. Really surprised at how good this album is)DJ Marky - The Master Plan (shit drum and bass that I can't stop listening to. The beats are amazing but the Beverly Knight style vocals are annoying. It has inspired me to look up his older stuff because he was apparently quite good back in the day before turning to the commercial stuff.) Xander
It is one of those albums that gets more betterer with every listen.'s a damn good album sir. I used to have it downloaded, but computers die, and I decided to get a physical copy this time.On a side note, rateyourmusic.com did a cover version called In The Aerorate Over Your Music. Fucking terrible, I mean, I expected King of Carrot Flowers pt. 2 to be pretty cringey anyway, but fuck, they ruined the whole album. Old Gold
That doesn't sound promising. I believe the only palatable NMH cover I ever heard was by Stew of the Holy Folks at a boozy open mic.I got St Vincent - Actors today. Annie Clark sort of reminds me of my dad's mum, if she was a dab hand with a multitrack.
Alphas
Riceboy Sleeps, an album written and recorded by the Sigur Ros singer Jonsi. Sounds a bit like, erm, well, Sigur Ros really. However, this is a good thing. Very ambient and stripped back.
