  1. :cough: i'm with this guy! if only they'd play thumb!!
  2. I failed at 06:15 this morning, ran all over with the beard trimmer I did have a ricockulous beard and tash combo for the last 8 months so I feel I could sit this one out!
  3. ah no it doesn't do that!! this thread gave me some motivation to sort it actually, turns out I had too much gain causing a massive uncontrolled feedback, tweaked it a bit today and its sounding like a nice little delay/flanger now!! I'm sure some noise freek would love the feedback potential it has though, it doesn't need a guitar input, you just ramp up the gain and it sings to itself while you play with the occilation rate and feedback level!!
  4. Fuck sakes, I built a curcuit that did that by accident, sounds shite!! o_O I'll stick it in a box and sell it for heaps!!
  5. Cool, hope you get some good business. There is also the Garioch Community centre to compete with for the under 25's on week nights, well maybe it just Wednesdays.
  6. fuckin good night like!! &U&I were spot on and MAYBESHEWILL had some tidy groupie's like HAHA mosh on!
  7. this will be the shiz!! I'm there and I might even bring me fiddle!!
  8. I always found RnB was really helpful, got a bargain tech 21 from them 9 years ago now and its still rocking (holy shit it was even bought for me by my dad!! I shall go chastise myself accordingly...) Last time I was in I was looking to get a guitar repaired but the guys told me a website where I could get the bits and the best way to sort the problem! Sorted! Ah, been there as well dude, booze is usually the cheaper option....

    Boss FZ-3

    dibs! you have mail sir!!
  10. How much are you looking for the banjo?
  11. The Ernie Ball volume pedals are the shiz, though I always feel like I've been ripped when I look at it and think "thats just a volume pot and three jack plugs" and they go for >100 new!! o_O Amazingly usefull on your pedal board though.
  12. I dismantle them for spares, I was trying to shift the remains of one but no-one wanted it!! Its now in even more pieces.
  13. I'd recommend scot ad's as well, for private sales, it gets a good audience. Also look out for chancers, I've had heaps of folk trying to get stuff for bugger all. Don't take the "your never going to get that price" chat, unless you really are being cheeky with the price!! And buy Japanese!!
  14. I feel for you dude, those cabs appear to be hard to shift second hand!! I could swap you half a landrover for it!
  15. thats so when i'm 30 i can still play music in a band as I can still have the ability to differenciate notes/instruments being played rather than just hearing white noise. Some people spend thousands on an instrument that never leaves their bedroom, I decided to spend some of that on plugs that might save my ears. I never wore the cheaper plugs as I really struggled to hear shit with them, with these molded ones normal speach isn't cut at all, just all the harsh stuff. If you haven't experienced hearing loss then it might seam like a huge price to pay but believe me you will shite your pants when you realise you can no longer hear the difference between a drum kit and a guitar at high volume!!
  16. Outside the "reasonably priced" bracket you can get a custom made set from Aberdeen Hearing services on George Street for 160. Its a lot of dosh but they really are the shizzle. Its worth scratching the money together like!! You'll shit a brick the first time someone says "can you hear that" and you can't hear anything, I know I did!!

good head!! Thats an excellent amp right there, highly under rated!
  18. "stay in every night for 6months" - who made that sentence up? I've had worse punishment than that for not doing my homework in primary 7!!
  19. so far through this thread I've only found 2 albums I actually own!! thats: Superunkown and Cowboys From Hell ....... Personal fav's that I've never got tired of hearing: Electric Wizard's WitchCult Today The Hellacopters' High Visibility Kyuss's the Circus Leave's Town. QoTSA's Rated R These albums I can listen to anytime, what ever mood I'm and whatever I'm doing, everything else I own is good but only in the right setting.
  20. I'd assume there are rebranded versions of the old dano plastic housed pedals. Comparable with Tesco value vodka, gets you wasted for minimum expenditure but at minimum enjoyment.
