  1. Doesn't looks like we'll be on 'til after 11. Just bought a heap of audience participation facilitators from town... can't wait!
  2. An anonymous parcel arrived for me this morning and it was a copy of a future newspaper... No joke... here's a scan. It looks like it's depicting the end of Onion Terror and has all the details of our last gig. Hope to see loads of you there. The Moorings Bar: This Saturday (31st January) - From 8pm. This will be a busy night.
  3. Picked it up on the cheap from HMV yesterday and watched it straight away. One word: Brilliant. Lots of very dark comedy, although you could easily relate to the characters as they were pretty believable. Plenty of funny twists and turns and it's got some serious subject matter too. To top it all off the scenery is great - makes you really want to go there. Don't know whether it was the Belgian connection or just the insight of a hitman but it REALLY reminded me of a more upbeat Man Bites Dog, which is no bad thing. 9/10
  4. There's a lot to be said for a decent live action / kung-fu film, although my favourite types are those that fall into the 1-5 category. Poorly dubbed, cheaply made and usually flops. Second hand / charity shops are goldmines for these, although they're not to everyone's taste. I've got a fuckload of both types and will post a list of the best later. Kung Faux is also quite a novel idea, and well worth watching / buying a couple of episodes on DVD. It's old films re dubbed by rappers from the wu-tang clan etc with load sof phat beatz through the story: Kung Faux
  5. LOL, all of teh 1's and 0's on a see-dee sound too squeaky through my speakerz!!! Onion Terror - See You Tonight. 7 Tracks for 2, and it'll soon be a rarity!
  6. ... by one vote. It's a pretty flower pot mat covered in fudge graffiti. (Sourced from Poundland?)
  7. *Amy* has a whole folder of pictures saved on her PC! Will try and hunt them down.
  8. What came first, Moshulu or the sticky floor?
  9. I found a heap of old pictures (which I'll be posting up in a bit) and it got me thinking about some of the best memories from gigs we've played over the years. Left me wondering what everyone's favourite memories of Onion Terror gigs... feel free to post away!
  10. New watch, undies, Millencolin CD, belt / t-shirt, Bear Grylls books, i-pod stereo, dosh, and some gliding lessons out at Aboyne (WTF?!). Would be interesting to know how many other families also give +20 year olds the mandatory selection boxes or tins of Celebrations / Roses... not to mention socks & hats.
  11. I was in Zavvi this morning, 11 DVDs for just over 50. Tidy. About to clock out for the day in about half an hour. Biggest. Boner. Ever!
  12. "You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to GraemeC again."
  13. What's the equipment set-up you have? or will bands need to bring their own full gear? Also, where about in the venue does a band play... my guess would be in front of the kitchen?
  14. I remember when I used to love nostalgia!!! (but it is fun checking out the old site)
  15. For any total Transoformers nerds I spotted a 15 approx disc DVD box set for 35 in 'The Works' accross from Jimmy Chungs on Union Street.
  16. SHE'S BEEN A GOOD GIRL ALL YEAR! That banner's been fucking up my safari browser for about a fortnight, just taking over the entire page - don't know if it affected any other browser. I put a complaint into the livemail team on Friday and haven't seen it since.
  17. The Little Red Riders Book: The Backstage Requests of Rock 'n' Roll's Most Famous Artists: Steve Lamacq: Amazon.co.uk: Books Last minute Christmas Present, saw it in Waterstones at the weekend.
  18. The spree book is where it's at homies!
  19. Our office used to pump out MOJO radio all day, which was phen-fucking-ominal, however, since they've stopped broadcasting we mostly listen to q radio (which seems to have muscled in on the MOJO territory). Q's also quite good because, for a commercial radio, there's not a lot of talking / adverts and the news isn't on every 30 minutes. Streamed from here: www.whatson.com
