  1. I thought it was a bit of a let down, read LOADS of reviews and stuff saying how mental / violent / bloody / gorey it was (and that it was the most fake blood used in a film ever) and spent the whole time waiting for a MASSIVE gun fight... to no avail. Ace idea, could have been better.
  2. Goldfinger were indeed the tits! Goldfinger, Hang Ups & Stomping Ground are all classic albums! Shame they went all 'politikal' and 'anim@l rytez' after that...
  3. "No fucking way, I'm Clive Owen... This is MENTAL!!!" Good episode, managed to walk the borders of comedy, drama perfectly! Also pretty autobiographical, which made it even better.
  4. Born Survivors... I think Bear Grylls' team will have something to say about that!!!
  5. Only a minimal guarantee I'm afraid! Free CD though...
  6. All bands are playing Christmas songs and the tunnels will be transformed into a magical wonderland!!!! Just 2 entry, which will also get you a free Onion Terror limited christmas 'single'
  7. Finishing Uni meant that I couldn't see as many films at the Belmont as I'd have liked. My films of the year are: The Prestige, 3:10 to Uma, superbad, the Counterfeiters, Last King of Scotland, Children of Men (but I think that was last year) American Gangster and Babel well over-rated.
  8. One of the old singers at the time was also in a band that played drakes AGES ago... I think it was Days in December / Trangression gig?!?! Got the ticket kicking about somewhere... the crazy motherfucker was doing cartwheels and a'hin!
  9. Stuck our new Christmas tune up on the bebo page: Onion Terror <onion-terror> Another new song "dirty bra" is also up on our myspace. MySpace.com - Onion Terror - Aberdeen, UK - Punk / Rock / Ska - www.myspace.com/onionterror Let me know what you lot think! And remember, next gig is the 20th December with Bill Ely & The Catnips and some very special guests!!! Woot woot. 2 and you get a free CD on the door... decent.
  10. Agreed with the block of wood. Used part of a bed-slat to block off my Floyd Rose a few years back and it's worked a treat! Mr Rose has persuaded me to buy string-through-body guitars for life!
  11. Quoted the wrong figure above, it works out at 26 per month without the sports and movie channels!!!! Bargain. Got the router through this morning and setting it up could not have been easier - initial performance is very good.
  12. Onion Terror playing 2 hours of original and cover material. Should be a fun night if you can stand us for this length of time.
  13. Actual funny (and not just RANDUM) moments were something that the previous two seasons totally lacked, there's been even less in season three so far. I Get the feeling that they didn't put much effort in to it because they thought that anything they did would be praised as much as the first two seasons. Also, as mentioned above, their massive budget has totally ruined the feel of the show.
  14. Agreed, nothing like reading drivel on the walls of a place of 'Higher Education'. My favourites were the tally games <insert celebrity>: Vaginal / Anal / BJ / etc... and you'd tally the collumns As for individualised graffitti: "<some poor guys name> had sex with a vegetable samosa"
  15. I've just hooked up with Sky; getting the TV (all but sports & movies), tinkerphone & the mid broadband (40Gb limit) for 41 a month which isn't too bad. Only problem is that I signed up 1 month ago and they've only just posted the router because the demand is so high for their deal at the moment.

  19. Aye, that gig was pretty rare. Didn't really agree with the way the bill worked out (first people there got to pick when they went on!!!) but ended up meaning we had more time to drink and listen to dance music! Didn't get glassed, but a guy did ask if I wanted a fight, then upon rejection just said "cool" and walked away... seriously.
  20. Playing the Star Bar in Montrose on the 28th of this month. Free Nonety-nine!!! Starts at 8pm, Holy Folks and other acts TBC! YALDY!
  21. Picked up the last few copies and it's rimming with tips every month. The DVDs aren't that bad either although this might be a bit n00bish for 5TR1P3Y!!1!1!!
