You can hear 2 of my bands tracks at www.myspace.com/levelfour. The tracks that are up there are very rock/punk. If you could leave some helpful comments (ie) constructive criticism or positive feedback it would be much appreciated. Havnt gigged yet due to circumstances but come summer you shall be seeing the name around plenty. Cheers Sam Edit: Rep points await those who comment!2 points

We are a brand new shiny Promotions collective. We aim to put on exciting line-ups of both local and touring bands. We're just getting off the ground and as you'll be able to see on the myspace - we have two gigs booked. Heard of a great band that need a date here? Need a gig for your band? - give us a shout, we'll consider anyone. We'll be out of the country for a month after the Along Came Man gig, but will be putting on some exciting nights afterwards eg: punk nights, metal nights, rock nights, ska nights etc etc... Spread the word - the mighty ducks are going to rock your socks off. www.myspace.com/mightyduckpromotions1 point

I'll be honest, I think it sounds awful! Tired and out of tune 'singing', comical drumming and terrible production. Surely you can do better than that?1 point

New track "Crawling Forward" + "Ward 12" (which is the final version of older song on there) available for listening. Apologies about the stupid gap in ''Crawling Forward'' my p.c. erased some of my data. It's a damn site differant than the other stuff, far less harsh. Enjoy.1 point

I wish they played 'To Live Is To Die' and 'Orion' on S&M though, would've been amazing. I think Hetfield's voice was at it's best during Justice times for the thrashy stuff that they were doing on RTL, MOP and AJFA but as stuff that's a bit less hyper (Black Album, Load, Reload) has come into the sets, I think his voice has changed well to suit the stuff. Metallica are always gonna be a firm favourite of mine. I still wanna start a Metallica + Slayer + Pantera covers band by the way (hint hint everyone!).1 point

Anyone can open a website and trade in goods at 1% profit. But how many people make use of shops like R&B, Prosound, and Bruce Millers when they need help, information, a repair etc??? The overheads involved in running a shop are much greater than a website. The overheads of having plenty of knowlegable staff around to provide help and advice to all those people who then go away and buy on-line are also substantial. It is worth paying extra to support these local businesses because they provide a valuable and high quality service. Think where we'd be if they all closed down. Or became websites. Quite often the person sitting behind the website doesn't really give a shit. For starters they're only making peanuts off your transaction anyway, and that quickly becomes a loss in the event they have to spend more than 5 mins arguing with you on the phone. Me? I buy locally, and pay through the nose, for anything that they have in stock. If I need to order something then I'll usually go on-line. BUT... if I get advice from a shop on something that has to be ordered, then I'll order it through the shop. Just consider it another form of tax, but one that is well worth paying.1 point

I love MOP (mop haha) and AJFA, both are very strong albums. Prefer the production on MOP though. Hetfields hardly hits any high notes on the whole of AJFA which is a shame. AJFA was the album which ruined my secondary school education.1 point
