delboy
yeah I agree about Bilbao and any team who make Man Utd look ordinary have gotta be alright in my book!
The Milner
Soda Jerk should be a journalist, he is quicker with the breaking stories than the papers are!!http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddballs/894640-magdeburg-fans-form-arrow-to-show-goal-shy-players-the-way-to-goal#ixzz1qWT0Obfq
Soda Jerk
I hope Bilbao win it. It's strange how they don't seem as dominant in La Liga. They are doing well in 6th, but with the way they play, I reckon they'd give any team in the Premier League a stuffing, yet they are patchy domestically. The Milner
Tell you what as well, Raul still has it! That was a fine goal he scored.
Soda Jerk
Raul never lost it. He's still got the legs and the tekkers. Still got a 1 goal every 2 game ratio. Best guy.
The Milner
I read they are offering him another 2 year deal, i'd sign him up for as long as possible based on last night!
Soda Jerk
He's 34, so a two year deal is pretty good for a player of his age. Most just seem to get given 1 year extensions. he looks like he could carry on playing like Giggs has done, except Giggs is a bit mince these days. The Milner
Yeah Giggs has not been as good as last year, still popped up in a few vital moments tho. I guess eventually time is going to catch up with him, just like the newspapers did.....
Soda Jerk
That said, he's still the joint highest assister with Valencia, but he's been too easily overrun in midfield. If United are to play an experienced bod in the middle, it should be Scholes. Giggs should still play on the left in my opinion. he's still quite quick for a 38 year old and has great control, but he's never been the kind of player to always keep his head up, looking all around. The Milner
Valencia looks like one of United's best buys for a number of years, he is a vital part of that team now a days, shame he is so one footed, what an engine going down that wing tho, the goal against Wolves the other week was brilliant. Soda Jerk
Valencia is incredible. United fans didn't take to him straight away (and some still haven't) because United fans are stupid and he doesn't do "tricks" or score enough goals, according to the balloons who post on the United forums. There are folk on there who slag him off because he sometimes passes the ball back to Rafael (or whoever's playing at RB) instead of tricking his way past the defenders. Slagging a player off for ball retention... Mental. Some people shouldn't be allowed to watch football.
The Milner
Mental. Clearly he is one of Uniteds most important players, the amount of chances he creates for that team is incredible. Not every good winger has to be full of tricks. I'd argue Valencia is one of the top top wingers out there right now, especially in terms of effectiveness. I've read some of the United forums before, mental, im sure i remember reading a thread where someone said Fergie should be sacked before he destroys the club.........sums it up really. Totally agree with that. Scholes spraying balls across the park and Giggs doing what he does, showing good control, beating people and playing balls in, whilst still being a shooting threat. Giggs cannot do what Scoles does in the centre of the park.

I just have to look, but it makes me want to bang my head against a wall. Every other week Fergie needs to be sacked, and Rooney/Valencia/Nani/Hernandez/the whole squad are not good enough. I'm pretty sure the average age of most of the posters on them is about 12.
Captain America
Jesus! Just read on twitter that Petrov who was a worry for Villa after developing a bad fever during the Arsenal game has been diagnosed with Leukemia. That's so sad, he's one of the success stories in the EPL for Old firm players who have really made it down there.

Soda Jerk
That's an incredible control and finish all in one movement. A striker would be chuffed to pieces with that.
