The Ghost Of Fudge
The Fudge Awards are an annual bitchfest, sorry, celebration of the best of the best local bands Aberdeen has to offer. We'll be dishing out our amazingly high-quality prizes during the actual awards ceremony, and even inviting the winning acts to come up onstage with us and make speeches to their adoring public. We'll also have three bands playing. It all happens at The Moorings Bar on Saturday 6th February. Stick it in your diary. We'll be donating all money raised on the door to our charity attempt to drive a shitty little car to Ulaanbataar in the Mongol Rally 2010 (http://www.aberdeen-music.com/forums/fudgenet/58268-mongol-rally-2010-teamfudge.html). Now! Down to business.THE FUDGE AWARDS - BEST 'INDIE' ACT 2010As well as this online poll, you can also vote in person at the Moorings on Saturday nights up until the awards: you'll get a paper voting slip as you come in the door. All of these votes will be totalled to arrive at our worthy champions. Monster Zero
ha,really? we've only done two gigs. Maybe we should get some more organised for the New Year so folk may actually know who we are We could try for a special 'shortest set' award. oxbow lake
this is a fix.this is a fix. putting up the lorelei is gonna get all those votes you'd have got for 'grandad we love you' clive fits his name in the 70's. It's the vote for the old boys, the ageist agenda, vote for them coz they might not make it through another winter type thing. where's the Adjudicators? BahhhhhhhhThe lakers

Stichman
I haven't seen Oxbow or Evill Neill, and I was underwhelmed by Winter in Siberia. I reckon the Little Kicks are still probably the best indie band in Aberdeen, but they've won it plenty so I'm going for Marionettes because they have good tunes, seem like nice guys and put in a lot of hard work.
